I got this box for free but having problems. Ive been able to select free ubtoot and it boots up to the pkt image but have tried loading openpli nand image but just hangs on UDT....

maybe i need a different mem stick I'm not sure. I would like to install hyperion, i read this is the best image. Hopefully someone ca n help me out with some advice. Im well versed on enigma 2 boxes but this is a little bit different...

Ive been trying to get my mutant hd51 working all day and this thread has helped me get the channels to clear but still too glitchy. Its def not at its best. Im running latest vix image with N line and installed the oscam ipk in this thread and have oscam.server, oscam.user and oscam.config in etc/tuxbox/config. I just don't understand the config for these three files. Ive uploaded them and they are without my server details.

Ive not edited oscam.user or oscam.config at all, maybe thats the issue....

No have reflashed a few times, still the same especially when I reboot the box. I'm running open vix and auto start is enabled. No this never happened with cccam 2.1.3 but don't want to switch back as it's more stable with mgcamd

Ive moved between cccam 213 to mgcamd 1.35a and now mgcamd 1.38. On 1.35a I kept on having to restart my cam to clear encrypted channels. I was advised to use 1.38 which I did. Still getting the same issues.

This is a mg_cf file, is there maybe a setting here that can help to stop or limit the restarts I need to give...I never ever had this issue on cccam

Ive had my alien 2 with no cam configured for quite some time now. Still have my 800hd but anxious to get a twin tuner fully functional. Hopefully someone has figured this out as I can find many threads on the topic but nothing detailing exactly how to get cam working..

I presumed oscam was the only option but can i run mgcamd on this sh4 receiver. Ive tried all different configs, different oscams, I've even tried mgcamd with standard setup of newcamlist and mg_cf in usr/keys.

I installed soft cam feed and put config files in usr/keys. I keep restarting cam and rebooting box but no pay channels clearing...

Has anyone successfully been able to get autobouets working on this sh4 receiver. Im just installed openatv to find autoboquets is non working for this type of receiver...

    Any suggestions..?

Have just got this box and from what I'm reading I can't use the same plugins as i would have done for vu+ boxes. Can you get lraizer auto bouquets for openatv 5.1 and also cccam 2.30

Why are these receivers different from dm800hd and vu solo running openatv?

Ive just flashed a very good openatv 4.1 image on my dm800hd. It has pluginskin mover preinstalled. I had countless problems using flash expander on open atv 4.2...so hoping plugin skin mover is better.

Firstly how do i install new plugins on to the flash drive, when i start plugin mover it only gives me the option to move plugins. How do i move a plugin if i don't even have the space required to install one..

Secondly I can't get the graphical epg screen to show like it is on vix with the picons and full screen display...i can get the infobar graphical display and its all filled up but no full screen graphical...

    - - - Updated - - -

Finally got it, holding in the info button then selecting graphical epg, i wonder how i could get info button just to show the graphical epg...

Another thing i can't get which is usually in osd settings is to square the GUI off, move left and right and make smaller as its way off...

I've read that since this box is not broadcam mips then you will never get stable e2 image for it. I've read that vix is available which is an image I highly rate but that's not what it says over at WOS.

Openpli or openatv would be my second choice but how stable are they...?

I flashed my dm800hd with openatv, big image so put flash expander on to extend my flash....formatted 8gb usb to ext3 and inserted to dm800hd and all went ok...Got my whole box set up the way I like it...

The when I bring box downstairs to living room it won't boot up, just hangs....

So i refreshed again and put on flash expander, powered off and tried booting up so just hangs...

So flash expander is definitely the problem, why is my box not booting up, like on my second attempt i never installed any plugins so its not to say the box lost the usb drive and box crashed due to excessive software....

No it is not the server, I have duo running good right beside it....the f5s was working on every channel before but scrambled messages kept appearing....I read that the latest firmware corrected this...

And I suppose it did, the channels that are working are quite watchable but the box is no good when half the channels are missing...

Yes. What is the best software as I am getting only some channels. I was able to catch the Chelsea game and only had 2 small glitches. I could live with that but want all channels not just some

Cant understand this bloody f5s box. Ive updated to the latest firmware from the ***box .cc website. Box is pretty decent, got usb set up with icons and epg, aj channel list etc...

All working well but channels are scrambling one day then ok the next but only for about an hour, the server is def ok...sometimes a reboot will resolve things but something is def wrong, how can these boxes even be sold the way they are running...i bought it for a second box to my vu duo but at this rate its for the bin...

Im using a very good image, openatv 4.2 for my dm800hd, very stable and reliable. I just can't get the hard drive formatted and Ive done this dozens of times before with other boxes.

I usually just format the drive to ext4 on my pc using mini partition tool but have also formatted to fat32 and tried rebooting then initialising. also tried going into device manager and setting up the mount but it will not mount to media/hdd and it crashes the box with green screen...

I've downloaded the houro openatv 4.2 ssl84. Working well but it's a big image, downloaded autobouquets, skin, working but crashed after I did picons and cool TV guide.

Must of used too much flash, I've reinstalled image, and the only plugin I've installed in flash expander straight from the feeds..

I've formatted a 8gb usb stick to ext3 and inserted it then started flash expander, it seems to have completed. Upon reboot when I go to flashexpander it says. ....7376mb free...

So do I just carry on as normal, installing plugins and picons as I please. Don't want to be co strategy relfashing....lol..
