Help Flashing image on Uno

    Just got a new uno and trying to flash latest vix image, i have formatted the usb stick made folder called vuplus...subfolder uno...unzipped image and put in uno folder. Powered off uno...put stick in front usb...power on uno...then it boots up then just goes to channel. No further messages appear.


    This should be dead easy...what am i doing wrong?

    BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE ,MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR CONFIGS, ETC,,,,
    dont make the folder vuplus.. images are usually already prepared, so format the usb stick fat or fat32, unrar the image directly into the pendrive.
    you will see it has already made its own folders.
    put stick in front usb...power on uno , press left button -channel(the one nearest the pendrive) it will say either updating or reading usb thats it,,wait until it tells you to remove pendrive and reboot. you then have to switch off the box from the back then switch back on,,hopefully you will see new image starting.
    the rest is simply follow the instructions( careful with parental control options etc)
    enjoy the new image ;)
