hi guys so a big thanks to master g for all the help getting my vu solo 2 up and running but i have a little bit more to do can anyone tell me how to set up cross epg as at the moment i have no epg and when i press tv i get hundreds of channels showing and all i really want i the sky ireland channels showing, any help would be really appreciated, thanks

Use AutoBouquets to sort the channel list.. Just set our region and scan.. [DOWNLOAD] AutoBouquets by Lraizer for Satellite DVB S2
Open Crossepg > Configure > set the storage device to usb or hdd, don`t use internal flash.. setup a scheduled download if you want and save > OpenTV providers > press ok button on sky uk. save & download the epg data.

Use EPG-importer plugin from the openatv feeds.
Long press blue button > EPG-importer
Sources/Blue button > press ok button on Rytec UK > Save/green button..
Manual/yellow button to download the EPG data > Save/green button..

Where are you saving the EPG to? Best not to use internal flash memory. A HDD if you have one fitted or USB stick will be better.

I want to install crossepg on vu duo2 but am not sure whether to install from:-
a. linuxsat panel where there are three versions of CrossEPG - 0.6.2, 0.7.04 & 0.8.1
b. openvix 4.1.011 main menu, plugins, Crossepg Downloader -

i use rytek epg i find it works best but 2 asian chennels 1 hum europe 2 Geo tez on sky uk .both not gather any epg .but all other all ok .any help please

You can use rytec using cross EPG downloader plugin or EPG/XMLTV importer plugin. Which one do you want to use?
XMLTV/EPG importer plugin will be already installed. If you want Cross EPG downloader, I'd recommend installing via plugins , download.
I suspect your EPG.dat is corrupt. Stop enigma2 with "init 4" then delete it.

Which receiver are you using?Install this plugin and then run it. It will delete all EPG data on ext/fat32 devices. This will deal with corrupt EPG database (if that is the issue)

I have install then do I press cross epg downloader to run it that correct??
Install the epg remove plugin, go to plugins menu and run it, then run crossepg downloader..
