  • Hello

    I am running a Venton Unibox Eco + and am trying to use 2 lines 1 for sat tuner and one for cable tuner.

    At first I used Mgcamd 1.38 for cable and CCcam 2.3 for sat Worked but not without issues. Some one suggested using Oscam instead of Mgcamd or perhaps for both lines.

    Totally new to Oscam do any help appreciated. I did try using a converter to create a oscam.server file but it did not work.

    Some one said if I was running 2 lines I also had to add something like KEEP ALIVE to my usr/var/keys directory.

    This totally lost me so an idiots guide or help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  • If you want to have multiple source N lines set up in OSCAM it is probably best to have them set up as virtual readers.

    In the oscam.server file you'd have them set up as follows:

    [reader]
    label = Reader 1
    protocol = newcamd
    device = example1.example.com,12000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    user = user
    password = password

    connectoninit = 1
    caid = 0963
    group = 1
    lb_weight = 100

    [reader]
    label = Reader 2
    protocol = newcamd
    device = example2.example.com,12000
    key = 0102030405060708091011121314
    user = user
    password = password

    connectoninit = 1
    caid = 0963
    group = 1
    lb_weight = 100

    etc etc etc.

    Just change the bits in red to suit your line details
