password changed

hi, I have just tried to update my channel list with dreambox edit but can't connect to my box 800 se + seems the password has changed so tried to connect via DCC same problem has anyone else come across this and is there a way to correct it with out reflashing, thanks for any replys

Copy the attached plugin on to a USB stick, insert into the receiver and follow on screen install instructions.

Got to plugin menu, start the password changer plugin and reset your password..

You may be able to download a similiar plugin from the image addons feed..

Lets us know if it works buddy..

hi boss I followed the instructions with the usb it says it was loaded but not showing in the plug in list

Now try to connect to the box with DCC > Click telnet > type passwd > press enter > type your new password, press enter, repeat process again > try FTP login with the new password..
