advice on 4K HDM Cable

I had some problems the past few weeks with my 4 k stb android box on the switching ports to tv. to my 4Kbox. the problem was the cable
so I advise you to use the right cable, its not worth it to buy an expensive cable
I had a cable from 6 years ago and it done the job very well

buy a HDMI v2 cable then you know it's going to work.

I hate the potential for people to overpay based on greedy retailers so thought id reply....

There are 4 different types of HDMI cable

1. low speed (pre hdmi 1.4 if I remember correctly when 3d capability was added to the specification

2. low speed with Ethernet support.

3. High speed (hdmi 1.4 and above)

4. High speed with ethernet support.

Not all HDMI cable will pass a HDR signal, no point double dipping.
