Mgcamd will work on the latest linux kernal images if you change the box type to dreambox/mips instead of autodetect.

thanks working ok now, shall i use the oscam+ mgcam or just mgcam 1.38 on its own ? and replace the mg-cfg file ?
is there a fix for the ecm times to show up with mgcamd ?...ecm times do show up with cccam but not mgcamd....

If you are only a client then mgcamd will be all you need, oscam+mgcamd would be useful for updating entitlements or running a server.

ok thanks...mgcamd1.38 running on it own seems to be fine...shame about ecm times not showing though, im sure there will be a fix for this...

Have you enabled this in user interface settings & does the skin you are using support ecm times?
Why use such an old image you are missing out on some great updates.
