hi guys - ive got a vu+duo with vix 2.3, i had mgcamd 1.38 installed but noticed that some channels wernt clearing, on some i lost sound as well...i tried this one in THIS thread here, but the same problem, some channels clearing and some dont..plus some have no sound, im using a N line, edited the newcad.list bu still no good...CCcam works fine but what is the best mgcamd to use on vix2.3 ?...my server provider is using newcamd...ta

well yes i did read some of them..specially the one i posted...seems to have issues, as no mgcamd works properly with vix image..ah well back to my old blackhole image..just as well i done a backup of it...lol

Mgcamd will work on the latest linux kernal images if you change the box type to dreambox/mips instead of autodetect.

thanks working ok now, shall i use the oscam+ mgcam or just mgcam 1.38 on its own ? and replace the mg-cfg file ?
is there a fix for the ecm times to show up with mgcamd ?...ecm times do show up with cccam but not mgcamd....
must admit i use to like bh images, but vix picture quality is a lot better, specially in HD....lol

If you are only a client then mgcamd will be all you need, oscam+mgcamd would be useful for updating entitlements or running a server.

ok thanks...mgcamd1.38 running on it own seems to be fine...shame about ecm times not showing though, im sure there will be a fix for this...

Have you enabled this in user interface settings & does the skin you are using support ecm times?
Why use such an old image you are missing out on some great updates.
