Before editing the channel list stop enigma2 in telnet with init 4
Make your changes with dreamboxedit then restart enigma2 with init 3

Master G I tried that as well. The good news I can see I am decoding the channel. just unsure why I am not getting video.
from the looks of it I think I'm not getting my stream back into my box once the decoding is done.

I had issues as well....
Easier to Google power vu channel list
Install that then edit what you don't need or add to it....

hey thanks.. were you just getting a black screen? is there a good place to find a channel list for north America?
I'm using openpli and I see in the info bar on the channel it shows emulator then 1s beside it

Even if you get the keys you have a mountain of work ahead writing your softcam. I had to write my own and its about 2000 lines long before the keys the emu added and still adding. Before you go further make sure you have the emu setup to autoroll. Also a word from experience is to start from one end of the arc and work the other way. Btw 135w just pulled a ton of channels as its life is almost over. The tvro sat charts are very helpful and continuously updated for NA.

hey thanks for your the info.. The ones I am looking for is on 101w. 125w , 127w . Looking for KTLA.. WGN, Sony Movie channel. Viacom etc..im still learning how to write my softcam. I'm confused on how they are supposed to look and how to get the autoroll keys. Only one I have to study by is AFN since that is all that I have working. I have a openbox z5 with autoroll but it writes the keys a strange way. I'm not sure how to read them. Yes tons of work.

Many guides and lots of extra info at satuniverse along with keys but like someone said not a lot for our side of the planet.
Basically here is the format
P for pvu
P 0000
Groupid a number you assign to a group of channels that are from same transponder. Can be any number but cant repeat for a different group
Then channel sid
Here is for KTLA
P 0105006B 00
This is my 105 group id and the channel sid is 006b the 00 denotes the index key 00 or 01 last when you get a working emm that format is just
P(groupid) emm without the 00 in between the user au identifier and the emm key (two part key) so the emm should be like this
P 0105 00500000 F833C7000000000; EMM Key
This is not a working key just an example

Hey Thanks A Ton.. I'v found lots of keys surprisingly.. Now the EMM key do they have to be updated? or does it stay the same and just roll the active keys?. Making a channel list is taking forever! I had to get some sleep

The emm normally processes the ecm keys if the emm is valid. The provider sets an emm for each subscriber therefore if that subscriber cancels the emm will write
Fake ecm keys to that group id and no longer work. With that said some providers never change the ecm keys and those transponders are best not to use an emm its not needed. A good example is sat 91w 3820v 30000. That key has been static probably since they added it and the ecm keys for that one are all over the web.

no, stream relay not required but then most boxes do need it now, even my xpeed lx3 with 3 year old drivers......
