Easy
2 F-connectors & 1 jointer/coupler
& some amalgamating tape

i just use the monoblock screw connectors when i did mine the ones that you join electrical wiring then taped it up, been working for over 4 years

I used chewing gum to joint the cables and made the ends of with my teeth
Had a few problems with bbc one otherwise all good

I would not recommend connector blocks, that is for internal installation fixes with electricity cables.
Also the foam or plastic dielectric in the cable is there for a reason which is to carry the signal, ftype barrells allow this connection so almost no signal is lost.

And if you need to connect the telephone you will require 2x of these

You only need to connect blue/and blue/white with the telephone wire so try not to buy x100 as only 2 are required.
VM are also installing pipes to stop that happening so if you are subscribed to VM then i see no reason why they wont sort this for you.
P.s if you are doing this yourself then use amalgamating tape like has been advised by inspiral
