IMHO solo4k is a far superior model. Its half the size, double the speed, X4 Flash memory, FBC tuner system, lcd mini tv, 4K UHD and only £50 extra.
If your not bothered about the LCD Mini TV go for the UNO 4K SE instead, its the same price as the duo2 plus has some speed and tuner improvements over the solo4k.

The ultimo 4k is currently the fastest receiver available.. Have a look at the vuplus SET-TOP-BOX COMPARISON and decide if its worth the extra money.

I have the Ultimo 4k. I decided to upgrade from the Duo2 which I thought was the best receiver I`ve ever owned. Now? The Ultimo 4k is the best receiver I`ve ever owned. It`s fantastic, the speed is amazing. I have 4 of the new FBC satellite tuners installed, I`m sure I read somewhere with the correct settings, you can record upto 24 channels at once. The picture quality is fantastic. I had this receiver configured exactly the same as my Duo2 about 15 minutes after receiving it. One feature I love about this box is, it has HDMI IN which I didn`t know what it`s use was. Until I bought the box. The receiver (upstairs) is connected to my projector (in my mancave downstairs) and I wanted to connect my Fire TV box also to the projector downstairs but hadn`t found a solution. Until I bought the Ultimo 4k. The Fire TV box is connected via the HDMI IN socket on the Ultimo 4k and everything is totally controlled via the Bluetooth remotes downstairs. All I need now is a 4K projector, but that can wait because the Ultimo 4k does a great job upscaling any HD/SD content. If you can afford it, go for it, it really is the Ultimate receiver.

I haven`t tried because I find free IPTV links useless. But I did try them a while back on my Duo2 and found no problems, just the fact they are useless and stop after 1 minute or so. I can`t see why they wouldn`t work as you would like them on your Ultimo 4k.

another thing to consider is uhd 4k films/video take up <100 mb/s to get a fluid picture is recommended
