  • The only thing I don't understand is Tandberg channels open. PowerVu channels don't open. Both use the same emutator.

    emu_auproviders = 0E00:000000;1010:000000

    for (i = 0; i < PowervuKeys.keyCount; i++)

    + {

    + emu_add_entitlement(rdr, 0x0E00, PowervuKeys.EmuKeys[i].provider, PowervuKeys.EmuKeys[i].key,

    + PowervuKeys.EmuKeys[i].keyName, PowervuKeys.EmuKeys[i].keyLength, 0);

    + }

    + for (i = 0; i < TandbergKeys.keyCount; i++)

    + emu_add_entitlement(rdr, 0x1010, TandbergKeys.EmuKeys[i].provider, TandbergKeys.EmuKeys[i].key,

    + TandbergKeys.EmuKeys[i].keyName, TandbergKeys.EmuKeys[i].keyLength, 0);

    I notice in your emu_auproviders you don't have 0E00:000000. I thought this was necessary for it to work right.
    While we're at it where could I find what all of that crap in those lines means....ident included?
    Very frustrating when someone says use this and other's say no, use this...
    Need more info!

    Problem on here are far to many different versions an mostly all using same oscam file or a while back updates nearly every other day. You never know which one to stay with.

    My understanding is the emu part is for pv and bi** and non-card decoding. The oscam part is to do with card reading.
    Correct me if I'm wrong. But at any rate. Too many non-commented fields in the configs that arent clearly or plain arent covered anywhere for the average Joe to fighre out and adjust for their own particular region or requirements.
    What the heck is a string of numerics reading mean :
    0D00:000000,000004,000010,000014,000020,0000C0,0000C4,0000C8,0000CC;0D02:000000,00008C,0000A0,0000A4,0000A8;090F:000000;0500:000000,030B00,023800,021110,007400,007800;1801:000000,007301,001101;0604:000000;2600:000000;FFFF:000000;0E00:000000;4AE1:000000.

    First person to answer that gets a dozen corn dogs and a few pints of Guiness. Guiness in a pint glass you can understand. 2 or 3 means a trip to the John.

    all i am tryng to do here is nothing else but helping other people(if possible),but if for you this is a crap why are you are here on this forum? it seems that you are an expert.I only shared my functional emu,thats all.And in emu_auproviders is not necesary to have 0E00:000000 but here

    disablecrccws_only_for = 0E00:000000.

    boby. I think you are taking things a little wrong here. Please don't as it was not aimed at you personally. That I assure you. Apologies.
    Looking at previous configs that I have here from different versions installed from ipk's, the 0E00:000000 is indeed present.
    The crap part you misinterpreted as being aimed at you is my definite non-expert experience in oscam-emu setup.
    As you see in your own config (and you say it works just fine) and compare with others there are differences.
    What the differences actually mean was meant for a real expert to take notice and chime in.
    And you know all too well if someone asks for help in these areas, a replacement file is presented with a "Try This".
    We can do a file comparison between the original and the submitted one and make sense what's going on.
    Other places like I mentioned....caid, ident...it's no man's land like moms secret cookie recipe. Sure is good, how did you make them? How come they have that special taste?
    So. Before you took it all wrong as an insult, someone more knowledgeable might have spoken up. Somebody Knows. Right?
    Further, I reverted to an older version of oscam-emu as suggested to do because I use no cards. Just pv and the other popular scheme. New oscam-emu is supposed to be only for card users. This version didn't do an auto update since it was installed.
    I read and searched and compared files. I pasted in extra info in ident and caid that was non-present in my original configs that worked for months. No Dice! In 5 minutes of swapping out for the older binary, AU's were rolling in like they used to.
    Hopefully this is cool for you and saved you the cost of a can of panty de-buncher.
    Again. Apologies.
