    In any PurE2 it does change the MAC address...

    Mind, WLAN device has its own MAC...

    Because some IPTV provider force you to use mag devices and mac address. So then if you change the mac address of your other devices

    like your Enigma2 STB you can use stalker and other mag emulator plugins to watch IPTV from thoose providers.


    Me personal think this is crapp. If i am forced to use something, then bye bye lets go to next provider.

    Indeed - I wouldn't pay for those services to begin with but OK, there are people living in different situations, whereby they can't or don't want to fight for their right to have a dish, so...


    On the other hand, if those "IPTV providers" are forcing one to have a specific device - it's just crass to go with them, as there are various "providers" of any service!


    Then, some machines, like Zgemma H7, have MAG emulators (Stalker) with Ministra support, so one should write to the manufacturer to include that in their Stalker bin (because they differ from one machine to the other).


    But even so, one can change STB MAC address easily, as I wrote in detail in this very thread... And if these IPTV providers do not know about it, that should tell you what kind of "service" that is...


    Most of these guys, let's be honest, are nothing but mediators or "re-sellers" and they actually don't know jack $h&t about anything. I remember one asking me to help him set up, since he doesn't know anything about it - but he is going "into business big time"... rubbing his nasty little hands, going "Money, money, money!!!" And you lot buying such "services" are enabling them to do that!!! FFS!!!!


    Instead of conclusion: in the EU it is your INALIENABLE HUMAN RIGHT to have a dish and digital services of any kind you need! The state must provide that right to all its citizens and stop discrimination by landlords etc.


    We still have loadsa stuff via CS, so use that and forget about IPTV, which is mostly crap and illegal anyway, so no guarantees are valid from such providers...


    But if people are lazy and/or stupid - there will be such "providers" and they will thrive, I have no illusions about that. Which is why I am not a puritan. I am only talking in my own name! Personally, I would not do that!

    Well i also forgot to meantion that some legal IPTV distrubed by fiber here in Scandinavia, maybe other parts of the Europe.

    Can be watched with devices other then the one provided by CanalDigital, ComHem, Telia, Altibox and so on.

    They use mac address and subscription card in their devices.


    So with an enigma2 device,CI+module, Stalker and correct mac address you can use any device supporting this criteria.

    gorski some providers only allow one mac address per account so if you want to use other mac based device you need to change MAC especially if you Have a Magbox and you have registered that Mac address with the provider.

    So if I want to use stalker portal on enigma2 or even stb emulator on android I need to change to my Magbox Macc address.

    Yes you can contact provider and get them to change mac but i think they would get fed up if changing back and forth.

    Yes ,crapp because it is still one account and only one mac to one account. In fact the provider I have multiroom with (extra 2 connections) does not even allow MAC based i,e, stbemu or magbox I would need to buy another account for that alone.

    Where as my other provider I can use any apps and one mac.

    Of course I did, both GUI and box.

    The funniest thing is I've seen how stalker-qt was installing, when I'm going to installed plugins stalker is not there. When I try to reinstall this plugin again because it's still listed in plugins to install it takes literally 1s comparing to 30s of first install. I have tries to install also local ipk with the same result. Stalker-qt is not present in installed plugins.

    OK, first try to uninstall it, using the Plugins > red button > extensions > OK to delete and confirm.


    Reboot the box. Try installing it again from the Plugins > extensions, please. Reboot.


    If if doesn't install, then there is a bug and we should report it to the coders.


    To do that effectively FIRST, before all that, you need to activate LOGS, please - see my thread in the PurE2 section's Stickies for "how to".

    No chance to uninstall. Stalker-qt don't show up there. I have checked Openwebif and plugin is there


    I have tried to uninstall and package is not available


    When I'm trying to install stalker again from menu I see console just for second and nothing is happening.


    Pure2 was a fresh install v6.5 only few days ago.

    I any telnet command to uninstall this package?

    When I replace the original plugin.py with your plugin.py and restart the GUI, the receiver (Octagon SF8008 using openvix) keeping rebooting. It will be nice if I can get this to work.
