To install an .ipk file, you need to have a good communication from your computer with Vu+0.

Then you need to have an software (DCC, filezila, etc), installed in your computer to transfer/install any files into your box.

Greetings, ok, I have everything, only I know how to install via an ipk file, but I don't know how to insert a file via ftp if it has a path and what to do with that file, but I still don't know because some files inserted in the bin don't work and I need those that work for my VU+ Zero 4k Thank you

Some files (eg: oscam), need to have attribute 755.

If oscam file is already in the folder with attribute 755, then go in the menu of the box-setup-softcam manager:

you will see the name of the oscam with a little box in front of it.

press blue button, so oscam will always starts when you turn on the box. Then press green button for 1st time start.

you can see all the colored texts on the bottom of the screen.

Why don't you install oscam from Mohamed os via telnet. Oscam will be installed in those paths depending on your image and receiver. The only thing you will have to do is change the files in the oscam config in etc / tuxbox / config that will be added after installation. When everything is installed, restart the box. If you don't know how to install manually, ask me in private message to explain.

Sorry , I didn't know that link doesn't work. For install your oscam you need oscam arm architecture for your box.

Ok, it accepts my oscam 11783-r801, what should I do next to keep it and update it to the new Oscam 11784 without having to do the installation again and search for the new Oscam
