Therefore fixing this screen might break any other screen that uses a choicebox. ( a list where you press the numeric keypad to select things)

that actually brings a problem with the boarders not showing. check attached pics. the first option (uncommenting the line) looks to have fixed. thanks
Kiddac I have had a search to see if there was any duplicate timers.xml present only one that came back in the search was in etc/enigma2
so I stopped enigma2 deleted it & reverted the name changes did a full reboot
And Timers & Autotimers Screens appeared as they should.
Very strange that it’s conflicting with the timers.xml file that resides in etc/enigma2
Workaround...
I have duplicated the text within timers.xml to vix.xml & commented out the following in skin.xml

I've searched through your Q&A's but couldn't see anything to do with my issues.
FYI - zGemma H5.2TC - ATV 6.4 - Wooshbuild
1) Currently using vskin-720 but as you can see history zap is squished. Fonts from what I can see are are set to zero and changing to another skin history zap displays okay. Do you know where I have to go for resolve this?
2) Also anyway to reduce the size/fix the programme record options? They're large and if trying to record something at the bottom of the screen the options go off it.
3) On LCD when choosing channel number to display the time and channel number constantly flicker. This doesn't occur on another skin.

When I update to this, on the Slyk Q 1080 skin, I lose the titles of my bouquets across the tabs, they are empty of any text, everything else is fine ?

HI Folks, is there a way to get the box to show an image after bootup if startup channel isn't streaming. For example, I use my own personal bootlogo.mvi. But if the box boots and if start up channel isn't working the box continues to show my bootlogo image so it looks like the box is still booting.
Is there a way to set a different background image once the box has booted up so if the startup channel doesn't play at least the box doesn't look like its still on the bootup screen? Thanks.
Display Moreopenvix have changed there EPG code this week to totally new code.
Therefore any EPG mods (coloured buttons / epg tabs) will not work.
It is highly recommend you DO NOT INSTALL any epg mods for latest version of openvix.
The epgselection.py mod will break openvix new code.

Love your slyq-1080 skin, but also I like to update my box regularly. So just wondering, I know your a busy guy, no expectation here, is it possible to update the skin to bring back the EPG tab functionality. Or should it be known, if we want to maintain that functionality and keep your skin, never update again !!

You can update but make sure epgselection.py is removed before doing updates. Epg files are getting updated regularly so it's pointless adding tabs for it to break on next update. Maybe when vix have finished updating epg files tabs can be looked at but pointless at the moment.
On the channel selection screen on R19 1080 skin the video player in the top right is offset by about 1-2mm on my screen leaving a thin black bar to the left of the playing video.
Is there anyway to fix this as it is a little annoying :)

and it is the best skin ive seen in the enigma2 world so far
but i always wondered if there's anyway to add the server informations in the first infobar (specifically in this area)
if there is a way to do it i'll really appreciate telling me how to

ftp into your box.
navigate to
/usr/share/enigma2/slyk-1080-r19
edit the extras.xml
see this post for instructions on editting the extras.xml file
