The 2 things you are missing is what is called the EPG mod.

Unfortunately there has been too many changes in the last year in all the different images, that the EPG mod became an abandoned project. It became impossible to get this to work on multiple images. So you have done nothing wrong. It just doesn't work anymore. Some people have hacked it to work specific to the image they use, but there is no universal solution anymore.

Feel your pain to many changes ,and as you I still flaff about using your EpgSelection.py and EpgList.py, and other day had to revert to old version of ChoiceBox.py .

But without adding any of those files slyk-1080-r19 still shows bouquete name in GraphicalEPG, but onyx and slyq do not if you know what i mean moving between bouquets with < and > you do not know what one it is.

Why can't they take into consideration when making changes make them backward compatible

But if using channel select bouquet names are shown but not everyone does that a lot still press EPG button.

Its annoying considering I think your slyk or vm skins are still most popular what a lot of people are used to especially when they have moved from such companies to enigma2. Old habits die hard so they feel more comfortable.

I actually have it working pretty well now, minus the tabs. I've mapped my TV button to show bouquet selection and the skin doesn't really look like anything's missing without them visible on the band. It's not showing which one I'm currently on but most of the time it's pretty self explanatory anyway.

I was also able to manually map the colours at the bottom so I now have a setup that looks almost perfect.

(pretty self explanatory) perhaps if only few bouquets, I have satellite , terrestrial, and a few different iptv providers

you only need to run the scripts once after that cron timer will work

New Top Picks V7.5 - 2024

New version that uses the sky epg api rather than website to bring in Top Picks Cover art for my skins main menu page.
Do note these images are just eye candy and for visual effect only. You can't select them. And they certainly don't play those encrypted channels.

How to install

Download toppicks ipk to your computer. (attached)

Via filezilla copy it from your computer to your tmp folder. (right click file in left column - click upload)

via quick launch menu

you are making it hard

run skyscraper.sh first

then

skypicker.sh

there is no plugin to access or open if top picks , as for movie planner mod for me I just press video button on my remote on gigablue to bring up movie list on your device I do not know.

Have you added cron timers for the scripts?

MENU > TIMERS > CRON TIMERS > then use the 'Add' button.

ok for the top picks, but for movie planner i cant undestand nothing,how do i open settings for this

Open the movie selection screen with the file list or pvr button.

Press Menu then settings or configuration.

Scroll to 'use extended list' and use the left/right buttons to change.

Green to save.

you mean the emc setup because i cant find settings

I don't think it works with EMC, you have to disable it and use the standard movie player.

Correct you need to go into ECM and disable it I do not even install in now have not done in years.
