    I just posted the changes to the official epgselection.py that doesn't have the tabs mod. KiddaC probably edited the name changes to his modified file for tabs

    dsayers didn't post a version did he. He just shown the latest commits from openatvs github that could have broke it.

    My file above is my original epg mod, but with those name references amended.

    But I probably should have also fixed that imdb error that was reported a few posts up.
    Never mind. If you use IMDB you can manually fix it.

    But basically getting picons for iptv bouquets is a little complicated.

    e-channelizer windows software is your friend.

    e-channelizer is not your friend anymore, nearly nothing is available in the free version anymore. Try AJ Panel for picon downloads.

    Well as I have several skins I don't actually know which one you are talking about for adding movie posters.

    Most of my skins are meant to be close clones of the originals, i.e sky hd, sky q, virgin etc.So there is no real room for all the movie poster stuff.

    Most people are modding the the skins they use with the poster codes and rejigging things themselves.

    I don't really have much spare time nowadays to amend all my skins.

    And there might even be versions of my skins around that people have modded with the xposter code.

    Im using ONIX - best one for my. i can read epg ((im old).


    Regarding poster i prefering your download " from X-streamity"


    Already tested skins (10) with PosterX, they have problem with posters resolution is just bad (zooming,squeezing, poor picture quallity)


    In your X-streamity when choosing VOD all poster great TIP-TOP quallity-picture not have any kind of deformation.

    The default scaling for graphics on enigma2 is pretty poor. It is very basic and that is why it ends up looking crap.


    In xstreamity I have a custom written image resizer using the python piilow library.

    That is why all my movie posters are nice and clear.


    I have never even tried digiteng s poster plugin. I have never looked at his code.
    But maybe my custom resizer can be used in his work using the PIL library.

    I might have a play around with his posterx stuff later and see if we can get nice clean resized images.

    As giopet has replied on the openatv thread.

    They are experimental images, (as you are both fully aware), so any issues raise them on openatv github 7.0 branch.

    The skinned menu not showing is probably an unnecessary name change or a broken bit of code with is preventing the screen name="menu_mainmenu" from being skinned.
    (I am not changing anything in my skins for that - as it would break every other image other than that one)

    name 'selection' is not defined, is something they have broke and not fixable by a skin author.

    And as they have currently broke the menu named pages

    I wouldn't be surprised if they have also amended similar code for all the Settings/Setup pages. So they are probably not skinned as I designed them either.

    KiddaC , thanks for reply yes I know openatv 7.1 insiders is beta and 7.0 RC1 also beta but release candidate 1.

    and your skins were working ok before their last update, I know you have already converted your skins for python 3.xxx.

    I only posted just to let you know , just as before when they did make name changes.

    Is there an XML file where you can change (enlarge) these radio texts that come along with German public radiostations? The bars should have the width of the screen (like in the standard Metrix skin). I use the ONYX skin with OpenATV 7.1.N-JOY_20220628163702.jpg

    If copying metrix skin elements you would have to change the colours to hex values or colours already named in my skin.xml file.

    KiddaC , I know you are not a fan of file commander but when using it on your slyk1080 and slyk-onyx-1080 skins on hitachi 4k tv but only using 1080 resolution screen is quite small so when you go into various directories you cannot see full file details but everything is ok on mertix hd skin.


    I did ask on openatv forum thinking it was problem with filecommander but they said skin problem. Dream explorer also has small screen. I know you are not working on your skins at the moment , busy with jedimaker :) also is there any settings I can alter to change size of pip screen to stop black line down left hand side.

    was goint to send screen shot from openwebif but funny thing is it displays ok on that .

    File commander is small in my skins, because it never existed when I created my skins, therefore it isn't skinned.
    I also delete file commander every time I flash my box, so I have never once used it :)
    It probably isn't too hard to skin.

    Looking at metrix skin
    /usr/share/enigma2/MetrixHD/skinfiles/skin_plugins.xml

    Search for commander and copy all the commander screens over and change the colour refs.
    You can dump the code in my ?-plugins.xml files.


    In fact looking at metrix skin it uses a lot of template panels now. It might not be that easy for a non-skinner. You would have to hunt down all the template panel code too.
