Got a chance to look into this and I updated to openATV 7.5.1 and also updated to your latest SlyQ skin

also replaced the files attached thanks to urie

and then uncommented out the section:

and all works great! :) tabs are working as should

**edit by kiddac ** - do note these file replace core files on your box - only use them if you know what you are doing. And know how to return them back to the originals if you run into problems.
And do not use them on any other image or you will break your image.

Yes I removed comments in onyx and you are correct epgselection mod is still needed.

Those fonts done the trick :) for slyk-1080-r19 and also for slyk-q-1080.

KiddaC , you are correct i had named slky instead of slyk

And if i rename slyk-medium.ttf to slyk-medium.ttf.bak that is when it used fallback one whatever they are it does not say what fallback font 1 or 2 font names are.

Hi KiddaC I think I have found the issue on the Vskins 1080.

When you start a recording and back out of the tv guide or if you start a recording of what you are viewing it freezes then you get a blue screen. Where on the default skin or the slyk q skin etc you get a box pop up. information a recording of said programme has been started. the same thing happens when using bouquetmakerxtream it freezes during importing. but it doesn't do it on any other skin and completes as normal. I think it maybe looking for a file that isn't on the VSkins. But I could be wrong.

I am using a VU+ Duo 4K with the latest openatv image just reflashed it in case it was something i did. but the issue is still there.

nothing else is on the image apart from the kiddac-shared-skin_1.14_all.ipk & vskin-1080_2.23.20250208_all.ipk.

If you would like me to send a log file over i can do that.

OpenAtv did use different code. - if they have now changed it to similar code to openvix then this auto-resize applet might not work. And is probably what is breaking it.
But I might have changed my openatv resize code and broke something.
So yes, I might need a debug log/crash log of when this happens - so drop me a private message with your log when this happens

yes some changes since 7.3 , I think different python from 7.5 yes you can restore settings to 7.5.1 and 7.6 alpha and also BMX . Xtreamity ,xklass , E2sentials and JediEPGExtream all work on openatv 7.6 alpha

yes I can understand but it is a lot faster and still alpha but 7.5 did not last long a bit of a surprise it went EOL so quick then on to 7.5.1.
