Hi it cant a folder on openpli, what am i doing wrong?
-
I don't use pli so I can't be sure they could have a different version of wget to oe alliance. I tested Nord last week on openvix and that was fine.
-
looking at the log it looks like you dont have an HDD.... a hard drive ??
-
yes i see that it has no hdd, but why it does to install it on the hdd ?

There's a few files so it may cause issues with low memory boxes having all the configs on the box. This way the vpn details are still there after a reflash.

what files need to be where ? can inject them manually from tmp folder.

The zip file containing the ..ovpn from nord website to hdd then unzipped and edited to work with enigma2.
You can follow the manual commands and place them wherever you want.

Test OpenVPN script generator
Hi im looking for users to test a new version of the script.
Setup is similar but this version will install VPN Manager [Plugin] VPN Manager with an option to edit username and password via the plugin in case it was incorrectly put on the generator.
First open Putty, and in the HostName (or IP address) box enter the enigma2 boxes IP address, and then click the Telnet radio button and click open
And then log in using the word, root
Users can visit
Add there username and password this will now generate a script.
Copy and paste the script in putty and hit enter you should now have the option for what VPN you want to use:
1) Nord VPN
2) IP Vanish
3) Digibit
4) PureVPN
5) PIA VPN
6) Windscrape
7) SurfShark
8) TorGuard
9) Ivacy
10) Quite
Choose your option and hit Enter this should then download the configs and once finished it will say OpenVPN Configs downloaded Please Start OpenVPN.
You will be asked to enter your choice again but you can ignore this.
Reboot box and goto plugins, VPN Manager and choose a country.
If you receive auth errors you can press menu and check the location is correct it should be /hdd/vpn_name. You can also check username and password is correct and edit if needed.

Are you using the test generator or standard generator.
What image,?
Is it giving you the error as soon as you start the command or after choosing a vpn?
-
I used the test generator, the new one; the image I use is openpli 7.2 and the error gives it to me as soon as I start the command from telnet

I'm not sure what the issue would be as it's working fine on openvix and openatv.
You can download your configs and send all configs to a folder, no need to edit them.
Use openvpn manager from here [Plugin] VPN Manager
-
the vpn I use is nordvpn but I read that it doesn't work on this plugin, is it true?

It should work, I haven't tested vpn manager with Nord but I don't see why not. If it doesn't test script wouldn't work you would have to use the Stanford vpn generator site.

there is a nordvpn plugin on the forum that works on some boxes, i have it working with openVPN as well

Add there username and password this will now generate a script.
Sorry for my poor english.
When you say to enter username and password, do you mean username and password assigned by the vpn service or chosen arbitrarily by the user who generates the test script?
Reboot box and goto plugins, VPN Manager and choose a country.
The country where we are or a country where we want us to appear?
