    In this tutorial I install all the drivers and the introduction of DVB-T tuner for DVB-T's best to tell your friends.


    First of all to introduce chips that pay for Dreambox receivers of these chips are well supported.


    Dreambox Receiver General of the chips and AF9015 and AF9035 and EM28XX AS102 and DIB0700 and SMSUSB and DIBUSB-MB & DIBUSB-MC and A867 AF9005 and support.


    AF9035 and AF9015 and AF9005, but the chips that are Afatech companies are.

    The most convenient way possible driver for DVB-T receiver Dreambox, EDG Nemesis image is used.


    If you use this image, DVB-T tuner, simply plug into your receiver, then press the blue button and then press the red button. Then select the last option.

    Press the green button and wait until the tuner is detected and the driver from the repository to download and install Nemesis.
    I'm using the AF9035 chip.

    Then press the Exit button several times to ask you whether or not you should restart the decoder must click Yes.
    After restart the decoder, can easily use the tuner.


    Similarly, you can turn on the Telnet command, Make sure that the driver is properly installed or not.

    Another method is very easy to use plug-in DVB-T tuner driver is usbtuner.
    This plugins is made of the Gemini site.


    Simply download and install the following plugins-tuner connected to your receiver and plugins run, After a few seconds, plugins, does not recognize tuner and tuner drivers from the Internet to download and install, just after the installation, restart the receiver.
    Of course you need a tuner tuner is the first post said.

    The above will automagically install and setup the usbtuner and it's scripts. If your tuner is recognized/supported it will be found and it's module/driver name will be put to the config file (/etc/usbtuner.conf).


    At this stage, assuming that your usb connected device has been recognized it should be in the config file but will not yet work. This is due to the fact that you probably don't have it's drivers installed. The package doesn't provide them anymore so you have to download them.
    Thankfully there is a /usr/script/usbtnrsetup.sh script and a GUI frontend for it which will help you download either just the required or all dvb drivers.
    BIG thanks to helour who contributed lists of modules and device USBIDS for automatic installation of only required modules rather than all of them.
    So if you're lucky enough to have a device that it's module set is known to this script, when you choose to download drivers using the GUI plugin or run (from the shell):

    /usr/script/usbtnrsetup.sh download_drivers


    it will download only the drivers that are needed for your device, otherwise you can:

    /usr/script/usbtnrsetup.sh download_drivers all


    and the script will download ALL v4l drivers available in your image's ipkg repo. Please bear in mind that your device's driver may not be available there and I cannot help here. Thankfully some users will be able to provide them in this or other threads.
    Please be aware of the fact that most of the drivers downloaded and installed automatically will require firmware file present in /lib/firmware and they ARE NOT in opkg repositories. But don't worry I've attached ipk with all firmware files I had access to so install it before installing usbtuner and all should be fine.



    By now you probably wonder what other switches does the script support - worry no more. You can do:

    which will show u a brief help message explaining the usage of it and available switches.

    Sundtek if the tuner you use, you must install the drivers to get through this action:
    Using this command will download the drivers on this route.

    Quote

    /tmp


    Chmod it to 755.
    Driver size is about 18 megabytes.

    cd /tmp
    wget http://www.sundtek.de/media/sundtek_installer_development.sh
    chmod 755 sundtek_installer_development.sh


    Start the installation with the following command:

    Quote

    sundtek_installer_development.sh


    Asks you to continue working with the Y button to continue the installation.
    Then, with the following command to go this route:

    Quote

    cd /usr/script


    For DVB-C set to automatically enter the following command.

    Quote

    DVB_C_Tuner_autostart.sh


    And to launch DVB-T will automatically enter the following command.

    Quote

    DVB_T_Tuner_autostart.sh


    Restart at the end of a Decoder.

    Hi all i would like to install avermedia twinstar af9035 on dreambox 800 se and image dreambox uk 2.1.2 because on this image its seems that ac3+ audio works but i cant instal the usb dtt anyone could help me to do it manually.
    italysat plugin dont works always say usb not detected
