Which image were you using?

Dreambox DreamOS images require a .deb file for installations of skins, softcams etc.

OpenPLi and OE-Alliance based images use a .ipk file.

Yes, you're right sorry i am newbie i don't know this particular, i have downloaded a .ipk cccam.I will search for . deb file. Thank you

If you want other softcams that aren`t available from the feed follow this:

Send the attached version to /tmp directory

Press Blue button to launch Dream-Elite Manager

Next press the Blue button > go to Addons

Choose Manual package install

Choose the .DEB > press OK

Choose YES to confirm installation

Send CCcam.cfg to /etc directory

Restart the box

Press the blue button to launch Dream-Elite Manager

Select softcam > press Green button to start it

Now press the YELLOW button to enable AUTO start of CCCAM

Press OK to complete the installation. Now the softcam will auto start when your Dreambox reboots or a GUI restart

To install attached files, send the .deb to /tmp directory > then run this command in telnet/putty/terminal dpkg -i /tmp/*.deb

Hi, Dream elite manager 3.7 is installed but cccam 2.3.2 is visible as 2.3.1 this is an error? The softcam appear in the list as 2.3.2

In the scams list is visible as 2.3.1 not 2.3.2 is only an error? Thank you

FTP into your DM900 and go to /lib/systemd/system this is where the start/stop scripts live.

Look for files that start with emu- (example ~ emu-CCcam.2.3.2). There will be 2 files, a service file and socket file.

Attach those scripts here and i will take a look. Its probably a minor error in the script that needs edited to show the correct version in dream-elite manager.

CCcam has a web-interface. Find the ip.address.of.dm900 then in a browser enter http://ip.address.of.dm900:16001

You will access a login window. The login details are defined in the CCcam.cfg (WEBINFO).

CCcamInfo will show you exactly which version of CCcam is running on the box.

Yes.

There isn`t much difference in the versions of CCcam, so try it first. If you have issues then update to 2.3.2.

i have also this arm7ve cam in the list what cam is this? Works with Cccam 2.3.2 or is different?

When i select to install version 2.3.2 a mesage tell me that this version is installed. So probably an error in the script that show version 2.3.1 not 2.3.2

in the cam list in DE manager cam arm7Ve don't start all cams are red color of smart card icon i start arm7ve with green button but remain red.

I can delete both files emu_cccam. 2.3.1 service and emu_cccam.2.3.1 socket in the folder for cam 2.3.1? then rename cam arm7ve as 2.3.2?

In he mean time, remove what you`ve installed and use something from the DE Manager

in dream elite manager start only oscams, cccam armv7ve you say is 2.3.2 don't start the smart card icon when started remain red
