Sport TV1 HD not working on Meo package with Oscam

  • Hi,

    I actually have one Octagon SF4008 with one local card (meo - operator) and i share it with my family with oscam 11464 (openSPA image 7.3).

    Everything works fine except when have some futebol matchs. In this case and in the channel that plays the game stops to work (only this channel).

    Anyone can help me.

    The message in Live Log is:

    (0100&005221//0000/0579/6A): timeout (5001 ms) by Meo - Sport TV1 HD.

    I don't know what to do.

    Thanks

  • Hello.

    Really nothing more entries were found in the debug-log ? I do not believe there is only one line for this particular problem. Something must cause this error, except for the expiration of the timeout (5 sec).

    It might be helpful, if you also show your configuration files (all passwords, IP addresses, you can overwrite the "x" character).

    Does this one channel really not work ? Is this a paid channel ? Maybe when playing football, the channel switches to a paid channel :) and out of the football it's free :-) . I do not know, I just guess, sorry, for fun :-) .

    Possible problem is another ServiceID (channel ID) and another frequency on the same satellite: https://en.kingofsat.net/find.php?question=sport+tv

    So try using other tuning data for this satellite channel. If you have tuned all current new stations in the set top box, the transponder and channel database in the set top box is also current. So, if you use DreamboxEDIT on your PC, you can directly overwrite your current "Sport TV1" with others like "Sport TV_1" without complicated search for satellite channels. In DreamboxEDIT, download the data from the set top box to your PC and then search the term "Sport TV" in the database and see what DreamboxEDIT found in the database. If there are multiple channels, you can try using a different channel (with other tuning parameters). Then upload the data back to the set top box. This is probably the easiest way :). Of course, only if the problem relates to the above-mentioned cause.

  • This is a paid channel, and my card is an oficially card and normally it works but in the some matchs doesn't work.

    If i put the card in the original box it works but i can't share it with my brothers and my father.

  • Why does everyone use the CAID and IDENT specification in their Oscam configuration? It's useless ! You have only tuned some satellite channels from which the stream is then pulled out of the EMM / ECM and sent for decoding to a satellite card (softcam). Depending on which CAID is desired, it is decrypted. You do not need to specify the exact CAID (oscam.server, oscam.config, oscam.user, oscam.dvbapi) at all. This is only used for filtering when, for example, you use multiple antennas (multiple providers) and do not want to share all providers. You certainly do not use it when you test the Oscam functionality.

    In oscam.conf you have two shared servers defined ... newcamd and cccam ... but which one do you use? It is good to focus on only one, although the problem arises about directly on the server, regardless of the clients.

    How does the Oscam log look when you watch the normal channel content and how does the Oscam log change when football starts on this satellite channel? What exactly does the Oscam debug log report?

    P.S .:

    I think you have unnecessarily many Oscam configurations that may not be necessary. Or yes ?

  • Why are you enjoying the ident?

    Why are you using two CAIDs? CAID 1814 left ignorant in the oscam.dvbapi configuration file, and then mapped it to CAID 0100 and only with specific idents! Parameter I: serves to ignore CAID. You can not ignore CAID 1814 but also use it (oscam.user, oscam.server, oscam.conf). What is your reason for mapping to CAID 0100?

    Why do you use "weight" in oscam.server where you have only one card reader defined?

    There are a lot of surplus things in my mind, in your configuration. If you do not use them intentionally or if you do not know what they are doing, they should not use them. When testing the Oscam functionality, it is a good idea to drill out a clean configuration file, completing only the necessary parameters. But if you use your Oscam settings intentionally, then sorry, everything is OK. If you have the configuration "downloaded" from other users then it is very bad.

    Under the "dvbapi" user in oscam.user you have also configured crap. Numusers, penalty, reshare, ident, etc. are stupidity and unnecessary items. The dvbapi user is used on decoded channels directly from the Oscam server inside. Dvbapi is an internal oscam-user that connects to itself (inside the Oscam code without using the network interface of the system). Thanks to dvbapi, you will be connected without the client / server mode ... that means directly inside the code itself. Therefore, reshare or ident loses meaning to the internal dvbapi user. Or what exactly do you have reason to block identities and reshare? I do not use CAID at all in Oscam. This is especially useful if you want to restrict access to other resources your Oscam server shares (for example, more satellites, multiple providers, more paid packages of choice, etc.).

  • I do not know why Meo satellite cards use the mapping from CAID 1814 to CAID 0100, but it is used almost everywhere what I found on the Internet. So, try this lightweight oscam config-set:

  • I already change like you tell and for now it´s working fine. Thanks.

    But I will only be sure on the weekend when there are the games of the main teams.

    When i know anything i give you my feedback.

    About the unnecessary stuffs, i was adding things trying to find one solution.

    One more time, Thank you.

  • Yup. OK. What I wrote could not help because it was just my humble opinion. This is just a possible cause of problems :). I do not even know Meo cards (or your satellite provider).

    /// EDIT :

    I'm not sure...

    The value "cardmhz=2700" is used for stepping frequencies (internal PLL crystal) in the case of set top box with Mipsel architecture. But you have ARM architecture on your Octagon SF4008. So I do not know what's going to be there. The best one is probably to leave the frequency for automatic detection :). Oscam is able to handle the frequency best, I think :). So adjust it if you want.

    Info about "cardmhz=" is here: http://www.streamboard.tv/wiki…nfig/oscam.server#cardmhz

    Same problem again.

  • Try all configuration files to delete or comment (by # at the beginning of the line) for all the CAID entries. Also leave the oscam.dvbapi file empty. But this probably will not help. Oscam LOG says that the card failed to decrypt the ECM (not found according to the card algorithm). I think it could be caused by CAID filtering. However, it is unlikely.

    Then try to add to oscam.server, under the Meo Reader section, write to enable ECM which probably Oscam blocks + try to modify support for Nagra (this I found on Google and I do not know if it will help):

    Code
    [reader]
    ecmwhitelist = 0100:64,69
    nagra_read = 1

    Info:

    http://www.streamboard.tv/wiki…oscam.server#ecmwhitelist

    http://www.streamboard.tv/wiki…g/oscam.server#nagra_read

    I also found on the Internet what my colleague mentioned in front of me - that some other choices need to be set for some channels due to a different way of channel encryption. Just search for "Meo Oscam settings" on Google. So you could also try other configuration files found (currently from the discussion for at least 2017-2018).
