I too have Nord VPN. I just installed Ubuntu 18.04.2 on laptop that had windows on it but no more. I am new to Linux in general and i love it so far. Doesn't mean that i know what the hell I'm doing just that I love what I see. I followed instructions for installing open vpn and everything seemed to work fine. I even got to the point where Nord asked for my credentials and selected a sever. It worked on it for awhile and read "initialization complete" or something like that and stopped. It did not work. Do you guys know what went wrong with this? Have you heard of this happening before? Thanks for any help you can give me.

I installed Nord VPN on my desktop win10 64bit no problems, but installing it on my Dreambox DM500hd with Open ATV 6.3 was not within my limited tech ability'.

I can see now that with a different type of router I could put the VPN at this point in the network, effectively protecting all the devices on my side of the router. I read somewhere that most routers that ISP's supply to their customers (often as a free startup gift) do not support OpenVPN set up, and therefore no Nord VPN. I'm now looking to buy one that dose.

HEY I just realized I've never actually shopped for a router before, good old ISP's.
