Hi, "iyikosan".
Please, I need help installing.
I have OPenPLi 7 installed.
I put the file in my DM8000HD box in the tmp directory.
But the system says that it does not find the .ipk, and does not install anything.
How should I proceed?
Thanks for your help.

I downloaded the mentioned .RAR archive above. This is not an IPK installation package, but abinary executable file. So you need a manual softcam installation procedure (CCCam specifically).
Or if you already have a cccam in the system, stop it with the command killall -9 cccam (or use the name of your installed "CCCam" instead of cccam, which you will find for example by the command top | grep cam). Then overwrite the original binary file with new file, such as:
mv -f /tmp/CCcam2.3.8_mips /usr/bin/cccam
chmod +x /usr/bin/cccam
Warning: I have invented the cccam file name, you have to choose a file name that already exists according to your current CCCam.
If you are using the Softcam Panel for softcam launching, then please also edit the cccam version in the "/etc/cccam.emu" file (or some similar file name).

Hi, "s3n0".
Sorry, I did exactly as you said:
I downloaded the .RAR file mentioned above and put it in TMP.
Because it is not an IPK installation package, but a binary executable file, it did not install.
How do I proceed with the manual installation of softcam (Cccam specifically)?
Wait. Thank you.

I updated my POST. Sorry :). Read it again.

Hi, "s3n0".
I've already seen your nomination.
I have CCcam 2.3.2 installed.
I'll try to do everything as you say.
Thank you.

Do you already have a CCCam installed in the set top box or not ? Then it's best to rewrite the binary. However, if you still don't have anything installed, you can use the manual procedure I recently described here: Working Oscam emu 11517 all Boxes
If you need the script for CCCam, please use the following 'sed' command (to replace all words 'oscam' to 'cccam' in user-config):
Same problem with me, is there anywhere ipk file to download or from some panel?

Hi, "s3n0".
I have (had) CCcam 2.3.2 installed.
I did exactly as indicated and overwritten the old one with CCcam 2.3.8.
It's working without crashes.
What are the improvements?
Thanks for listening.
Hug.

or from somewhere here in forum ipk file.
and replace with cccam 2.3.8.
a colleague just mips or even for a arm
thank you
I installed (by copy) the 2.3.8 version - everything works EXCEPT 19E Germany (which was why I was doing it). My question is whether as a shrae this is all I need do, or do I need to ensure that my share supplier has also done some upgrade?
