Haven't seen any indication of dual boot for this machine.
However if you are looking at a box with hisilicon processor and dual boot, check the Dinobot u5 mini.
I already have k6 , and I asked because the 2 boxes are the same CPU and there are many with the same CPU support e2 like anadol 4k , I am almost sure that there is a way for dual boot

The problem has been solved by activating the synchronization in google chrome and updating google play services. Thanks.

Can you get TV bouquets on this. I have the box but can only get a list of all available channels and now next on TV guide, I am using the dvb-s2 tuner with uk satellite any help appreciated

There isn't HDMI-CEC on the mecool K6. I haven't seen a root for this device.

Netflix works standard and high quality only on Mecool K6, at least for the moment. But I doubt that it will ever be certified for Netflix. For séries it's good enough for me. Not much of a ntflixer myself.
If it is important for you, with a similar hisilicon chip and android plus openatv or enigma2, recommend checking out the Dinobot u5 mini 4K if you want an android satbox certified for Netflix. The Dinobot is twice the price than the Mecool K6 though. Other than dual boot and Netflix full support the two boxes run equally silky smooth.
The remote is indeed basic. I complement it with an air mouse. Curiosity, the same airmouse does not work on the Dinobot that has its own BT airmouse integrated with the remote.
The Mecool K6 box is all about the hisilicon chip for audio and image support. And I am very happy with it.
When you say High Quality Netflix. Do you mean 540 or 720P? Also does the K3 remote work on the K6? I went ahead and ordered one from Gear Best. Supposed to ship out next week.

can someone explain to me, why the supercam apk requires tons of privileges??? why it wants to locate me based on GPS, why it wants to call contacts in the device, look in my contacts, modify contacts and also lots of low level android permissions??? seems to be like trojan horse, not a safe piece of software...

Looking into logs suggest No ecm found help me to resolve this issue

I have know idea as I waited 3 weeks for gearbest to get the K6 in stock and they never did so I canceled the order. Does your GtC use a newer Oscam?

Mecool K6 is not certified for Netflix but it is watchable.I was told that there are netflix versions that you can install for better quality although I can't see the difference on my small TV. More in the support group here repeat the explanation here.

Can you explain what you did from the beginning in the configuration of your k6 in detail and perhaps we can identify which parameters are missing? The issue is the oscam Emu not being very up-to-date. Some lines work well some do not.

I buy box mecool k6...what should i do to put the cccam working?should i change the firmware or find the emulater supercam? I have been looking for the supercam emulador but i did't find. Someone can help me please?
