here sir

On install it says it’s the for the wrong image. I’m trying to install on openvix
-
ViX softcam feeds are included in the image. If you have the latest image then you have the latest feeds.

OpenVix does not have a softcam feed that you install. mgcamd/cccam for arm receivers has yet to be placed on the standard servers. you will have to download the ipk and install it.

Do not do this for OpenViX. That is only for OpenATV
-
Well, as long as you know how to handle the CAMs without support inside the E2-GUI, the feed is perfectly ok for OpenViX.
But if you don't, you really shouldnt!
It would bring you into the same problems that forced OpenATV to remove the softcam panel with a smaller grace period for a soft migration ...

why ????
it worked ok with openvix...

Ok. Once you install the secret feed, you then install the softcam/s.
How do you then select/start/stop/restart the softcam?

Because OpenViX uses a method for starting CAMs that is different from that in OpenATV.
OpenViX has the scripts for starting CAMs in /usr/camscripts or something like that and probably starts them through Enigma2 (Late at start).
OpenATV now uses the regular init.d-System, that means the CAMs get started through Linux early at boot.
However:
The scheme for starting CAMs that gets used by OpenATV does work with most, if not all, Enigma2 distros, including OpenViX
So if you install a CAM from the OpenATV softcam/secret feed, it will definitely work in means of starting at boot, decrypting TV, and so on.
However you will not be able to control its start/stop from within E2 and OpenViX' E2 will not care about it when setting up different CAMs from their feeds, so you might get two CAMs (trying to) run at the same time.

Could you help me with this please I'm really struggling the guy that did my boxes has fallen very ill
The subs have expired I tried to edit the CCCAM but failed and now have reset the 2 boxes
They are Gigablue HD Quad plus OpenVIx
Thanks

go to openvix in plugin manager / downloads and install the oscam then start the box again with ftp and navigate to the order /etc/tuxbox/config there you move the configs, before you just have to adjust oscam.server. on the box in softcam manager start the oscam green button and with the red button you set an auto start of the oscam. that's it
