IPTV Stream Stops

    Hello All, I have a Zgemma H7.ac with pure2 image. When I stream this channel "https://dai.google.com/linear/hls/event/xuMJ1vhQQDGjEWlxK9Qh4w/master.m3u8" the video stops after the commercial. I have to switch to a different stream and back to continue watching. If I stream the same channel in VLC, the channel will continue after the commercial. No channel change required. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks

    Finally had some time to try this plugin. Unfortunately it didn't work for me. When I stream from StirrTV, the stream stops every time there is a break in the program. Changing channels is the only way I can start the stream again. Zgemma H7.ac with pure2 image.

    Please confirm the version is the latest, and activate debug to check what's going on. Also post your settings when you do so. You can also check the "ReStart" plugin bound to a hotkey to restart streams without zapping (although, obviously, if you can have it automated via QP it's better).

    I'm using version 6.2. I think my first try didn't work due to a problem with the installation. I installed it again and now I see it in the plugin menu. I'll give it some time and see if it works for the streams I have trouble with. Thanks.

    Is there a OPTV 6.5 compatible version? The 6.2.0.l seems to be compatbible with oatv 6.5.

    Edit: I made a mistake, the last stable is 6.4 not 6.5 (eol), so it's ok on 6.4 But during the installation I have a lot of libs unavailable.

    To use this on py3 (openatv 7.0 or 6.5 - EOL) I copy the latest ipk from the link as given by KiddaC in post #2 above into the tmp directory. I then run the following command in telnet and it installs and runs correctly for me after a fast restart. This is on a vu+ solo 4k running openatv 7.0

    opkg install --force-depends /tmp/*.ipk

    I need to sort out some dependencies that apparently are preventing some installs to work, in fact I'll start with QuarterPounder and a new version should be available on github on the next couple of hours.

    Update from 6.2.0l to 6.2.0m is ok, no specific error messages !

    Fresh install opkg install quarterpounder-latest.ipk is ok, no more errors on lib dependencies



    Great job ! Your plugin (discovered only today) solve for me a lot of hang on some iptv channels.


    I will test this new version and if I'll discover problems, I will let you know. I have recurrent problems with the canal+ africa bouquet so I will watch these channels tonight !
