No i didn't,i like openvision image so i try to fix telnet on it.
Hello.
Try using Putty app instead of VuCentre (it's free and better for Telnet and SSH connection).
The FTP connection works probably because you have not set a password (the FTP server ignores the password if it does not need it to connect).
It is also possible that you have to leave the telnet password blank (press ENTER) while connecting. Then, if you manage to connect without a password via telnet, I recommend setting a password with the "passwd" command. So you can also use SSH and FTP with a password.
hi friend have you ever tried to install satvenus 7.3.2 you will find everything

I don't see the error you're seeing. If you use PUTTY, I would see a mistake. So if you don't know what the connection error is, you don't even know what else to do. Putty would write "access denied" to the terminal.
I also mentioned above that FTP can work without a password. How do you know the password has been changed? Some of the firmware is ignored if you want to use the same password and login and do not set anything. Try the FTP connection without using a password.
Does the connection to OpenWebif also work in a web browser? Test the terminal also via OpenWebif (if webif works).
There are many ways to diagnose this error. But somehow you have to finally start diagnosing the problem :-).
webif is working and ftp also ,just telnet is not working.I tried without password and with password the same thing is hapening.
With putty it just says: connection refused, server is down.
I dont know what else to try!
hello jasmin811 how do you enter with putty which suffix flag after having put the telnet address ??
hello jasmin 811 it's not by chance that you use the multiboot so you go crazy:hello

Um ... it looks like the set top box is not running Telnet and SSH service.
You get the same informative message when you try to connect via Telnet and also via SSH ?
What about OpenWebif? Will you join OpenWebif ? Does the Terminal-applet work in OpenWebif ?
yes,i get same message, openwebif works perfectly and ftp is also working. In openwebif i dont have terminal,i dont know how to install it in openwebif
In the left column, at the bottom, there should be a terminal - click on the "Terminal" line.
no,there isn"t just watched in youtube where it should be.
in settings/expert/network/ there is telnet options and it is 'active' same for ftp options
If you have teamviewer you can check in pc the problem with it.
Oh sorry, you are right, in OpenVision 9.3 develop version is theren not terminal module (not installed in the OpenWebif build).
This is a question for Persian Prince (development team of the OpenVision image).
Write us on Skype or a private message. I have a TeamViewer of course and I can check it out. But I probably won't do anything about it. Telnet connection must work. Do you have the correct IP address ? The right port ? You have no problem on the router (for example, blocking the Telnet port for LAN).
I just sent to you in skype a message to accept me

In Open Vision we do not install extra things for smallflash/middleflash STBs and this model is middleflash so no Open WebIF terminal.
Normal OV has it.
Hi.
OK thanks. I tried to work with my colleague through TeamViewer. Failed. Unfortunately. I have not found out where the cause of this problem is.
In its OpenVision 9.3 development version, the Telnet connection does not work. However, the SSH connection works. The Telnet service is running from the GUI-MENU point of view (we have also tried to restart it) and also from the point of view of running daemons in the system ("inetd" is alive and running).
Putty always has a network problem with Telnet. The same problem allegedly arises when connected from a terminal that is running on another device (smartphone). The problem will not be Windows PC or Putty app, but the problem will probably be somewhere in the LAN (maybe WiFi router - security settings?). I dont know, sorry. :)
