As in the subject. Openwebif allows most of the things you can do on a receiver through a web browser.
But being compact in size wouldn't a VNC fork be cool?
They're all over the place for Linux distros.

Yes Jens. In its most primitive form back in the day it allowed remote console control and keyboard usage.
These days we have Remote Desktop and variants of for every OS in existence.
Keyboard and mouse integration is almost seamless.
Wouldn't that be slick?

Okay so VNC server would be like "teamviewer" over multiple platforms and yes would be a great idea for e2, even just the keyboard option would be great.
