My dear,

install the IPK file—it does everything automatically. It detects the type of image installed on your device and identifies the processor without any intervention from you.

Hi, I haven't seen any channels since yesterday (channel, rsi). If I go to reader from webif, some are green, zgemma h9 combo, uclan 4k pro. enigma2-plugin-softcams-ncam_V15.7-r0_all.ipk, it worked for me before, what could it depend on?

The free channels are no longer visible. I even tried putting the softcamkey file in usr/key but nothing. Any suggestions? Saturday was fine.

The latest version of the emulator works on all images for me, and there are no issues at all.

You don't need to change image. Your problem is bad cline , not Ncam emu.

Hello everyone

I'm having trouble removing Ncam 14.2 from my Dreambox 900 HD.

I have the Gemini 4.2 image installed, and when I try to uninstall it via DCC using the command,----- apt-get purge --auto-remove enigma2-plugin-softcams-ncam-osdreambox----

it doesn't uninstall and gives me the following message... E: Could not open lock file /var/lib/dpkg/lock - open (2: No such file or direc

ory)

E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/), are you root?

Can anyone please help me?

have you checked to make sure that ncam isnt running as this would cause a lock, also i think you can install 15.7 over the top without removing first and I will automatically remove the older version. I know this is the case with openATV which i use on my DM900. I haven't used Gemini image for a few years due to it not having Auto bouquets maker which i like using so i get the correct channel numbers.

Ncam is working fine, but I used to be able to remove Ncam through DCC, and now it won't let me remove it, giving the message I indicated in the post above.

Have you tried through the software manager on the box itself I have had strange errors over terminal before then when I have executed the same commend through the software manager it has worked. I know this seems strange as you would think you would get the same output however in my experience i have had this happen before as well.

You go to the usr/camscript folder and remove Ncam14.2 and replace it with Ncam 15.7.
