  • Hi, everyone,

I'm quite disappointed at my decoder behaviour, as it usually freezes every two or three days, even though it's not actually doing anything and my setup is simple (not strange plugins etc.).
Reading somewhere, it seems like it may depend on the power supply, so I was thinking about replacing the original one (1 x 12v 2.5 amp) with this one.

I'm using an openATV 6.4, internal hard drive, default plugins.

  • don`t think is from power supply, think is main board problem. maybe one capacitor from Tuner is broken, would be conceivable

  • 3A should be enough.

Tried PurE2 in the other partition? By default, you have 4 to play with... ;) Doesn't cost to try...

All the info you need is here, in this and in PurE2 section of this forum... ;)

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-incurred immaturity. Immaturity is the inability to use one's own understanding without the guidance of another. This immaturity is self-incurred if its cause is not lack of understanding, but lack of resolution and courage to use it without the guidance of another. The motto of enlightenment is therefore: Sapere aude! Have courage to use your own understanding!"
