Hi,
I’d like to install a DVB-C/T2 USB Tuner on H9Twin running OpenATV 6.4, but I’m not sure what brand should I search for so that it would be the most compatible and easy to install in terms of drivers.
Your suggestions are mostly appreciated :)

Thanks for the info!
Is there any other brand that would be widely available in online shops? I have noticed some names on driver download section of plug-in on OpenATV image but not sure if those brands will work on H9Twin!
Thanks for the link!
However I couldn’t find any specific information. My box is H9Twin running OpenATV 6.4 with Kernel 4.4.35. I was wondering what brand of Dvb-c/t2 should I go for that drivers would be available and compatible. Also tuner itself available to purchase.
if people ask questions about usb tuner's in that part of the forum
where do you think you should ask question's

best thing would be to go to plugins, download, drivers, and see what is there
The cheapest DVB/C stick i have had working is the xbox tuner, but that was on a VU duo4k, i am not sure if it works for DVB/T , but think it dose....
In fact i have probably got a couple lying about somewhere they are only about 5 pounds brand new anyways
Below is the telnet command to install the drivers.... so either use telnet or check what is available under plugins like said above.

thank you so much!
I checked the drivers available on the download plugin section and found the following two out of those you mentioned,
dvb-usb-dib0700 (1.0-r1)
USB DVB Driver for dib0700 chipset
dvb-usb-mn8847x (1.0-r0)
USB DVB Driver for Panasonic mn88472/3 chipsets
Are these drivers enough for xbox tuner to function properly at least on DVB-C mode?
yes that should work fine:thumbup:
This one works. But the drivers will have to be changed manually. The ones from the feed are not fully worked out.
I never see on the internet Hisilicon chipset working with dvb-usb tuner.
I think manufacturer drivers problem.
I have been successfully using Xbox Tuner on my Zgemma box for FTA DVB-C channels, but I have acquired a viewing card for other channels and with my Conax cam I see authentication message on encrypted stations, but screen is still black! I also have Ci+ helper installed.
I was wondering if some driver for the tuner is missing? I have installed the following drivers from download page,
