Lost PV channels after AU. A little advice?

    Hi all. Yesterday after an AU I lost all disc. net. channels on 58W. Seems as if these use the same PV keys as European sats.
    Anyway I commented out the AU lines one by one and restarted oscam. Until the channels came back. They did.
    A short while later another AU came in. I tried the same thing again but this time only audio and cw's.
    But no video. What gives? I entered the keys using the hash method also but no joy after hours. Only audio.
    This morning I removed my old oscam emu and installed Mohamed's OSCam r11702-798 version and restored my key file.
    Looks like everything works except the ones that went dark. Stil getting audio and cw's.
    Can anyone enlighten me as Gorski used to say here?

    This is what i got having just updated myself keys on 0.8w..... no idea if they the same as 58w

    im still on some old oscam emu version


    Maybe something going on with this set of channels? I placed and formatted your text and still getting audio and no video.
    Like you said mate. 798 is the most recent emulator. Tried the new version for the config files only.
    After the second try of commenting the AU keys it just updated again with the same ones but a few less.

    Still learning after all these years. Could something in a config files kill video but allow audio while getting cw's?
    If I kill oscam audio goes too.

    Thinking out loud here:

    "Stream relay" may do it config wise, :scratch_one-s_head:it shouldn't be required on most modern boxes......

    try using only the keys for the discovery channels to check any conflicts there, it worked before it updated and not now after.

    I've actually tried that Jens. Created a new empty keys file and put in my old keys one by one for this sat.
    Lots of oscam restarts. And lots of no control words for any of those channels. Until I did. Then still no video. But audio.
    Remember where I asked how to tell which key was actually being used for a channel? Well that turned into a guessing game i suppose.
    All I can do is search by SID and when it comes to the hash method. It's anyone's guess. FFFF tells very little.

    And stream relay. I never have used that method. It kind of seems complicated. It's an all or nothing thing right? If I use it on my osmio4k it would be the method I would need to clear all pv channels. Right?
    Is there some link for a step-by-step to try it?

    Also. (Imagine me taking a breather to open the webif and see if the channels clear using VLC.......and it doesn't. But I can change audio tacks for Spanish and English)
    I asked in the TNAP sponsored site forums if there was a VLC plugin for Enigma 2 that would directly open 4:2:2 video instead of using the webif to open on a pc then cast that to my TV.

    Your box doesn't need stream relay, and your right it is complicated.... i just wondered if it was enabled somehow.


    Do you get decent results casting 4.2.2 feeds to your TV ?

    There is a way to do on the e2 box via kodi plugins, but i could only get SD channels to work and there are never 4.2.2 feeds in SD quality now days so kind of pointless. A dedicated PC tuner and required PC software is the way to go for 4.2.2 transmission.


    With regards the correct format of the keys.,... I'm not the best to ask as i mostly use other peeps files and the occasional feed keys.

    Perhaps W@Rp or MOHAMED_OS will give some insight here

    Stream relay is definitely not running.
    4:2:2 just goes like this. Open the webif on my pc. Select a 4:2:2 channel. It opens in VLC. And then I cast it to my smart TV.
    I'm not smart enough with VLC to run it on a my Amazon streamer to get them to open directly.

    HashModeCW is currently at 0 on these channels so It's not like what AFN pulled way back when a new update was needed frequently.
    I could be wrong. People are still asking for keys for it (AFN) and cw's have showed on those channels. But they changed to a different scheme.
    I got a little hint from here for my issue. Last page:

    interesting, so it is not only you.... its not looking good.

    I heard a rumour a while back about things changing, the same channels were testing on other sats, but with different encryption.

    Mr Mohamed_OS I hear of some channels on Astra 4.9 having audio and no video.
    A response was that there were "some settings required to make them work".
    Are there specific config. file settings that might work in this situation?
    I use the emu only for your 11702-798 on an osmio4k and use no cards.
