Can someone help me to configure the satip?

I installed satip on an enigma2 box and I wanted to see it on an android box with the sat ip viewer application.

But not where to put oscam on satip

Satip installed on enigma2 box is not satip server, but satip client. So You need first to have a satip server, e.g. Triax TSS 400 MKII, I have this one.

I have an octagon and I installed sati and I can open it in the browser.

But then install the sat ip viewer application on android and detect the octagon satip, it does the search and detects the channels but it doesn't open.

Do I have to install triax sss first?

Satip server You can not install to sat box.

This is some plugin installed on Octagon E2 box? I still don't know about it, but only satip client plugin is really existing. The satip technology using a virtual tuners via LAN /WiFi connection for a satip clients and therefore needed a real satip server with real sat tuners.

Anyway, if You want to watch tv on your smart device, just install from Google Play application named Dreamdroid. With this You can streaming every channels from your Octagon to device without using oscam on Android. It's really very easy.

What about Gigablue uhd quad 4k it is advertised as sat > IP box ?

Sorry, I don't have this box. I know about this advertising, but I really doubt if it's true or not, regarding of true satip protocol.

But the dreamdoid application only streams.

With the satip server installed on the ocatgon box, I could use it on the android box independently.

The Dreamdoid app is for streaming right?

In reality, all is stream. But difference between satip and stream is that satip client sees another tuner on box menu and streamer not.

Advantage of satip is e.g. another streaming from satip client to Android device or in case of missing coaxial cable to box.

OK, then You need to establish one satip server and connect it to sat dish and your net. Then after you install satip client to E2 box and set satip tuner, you will see something like this:

I'm afraid you don't understand what I try to explain to you. Those settings on my screenshots are in the box that is Satip Client, as the plugin is Satip Client. Are you sure you installed to the Octagon Satip Server? I don't know about such a plugin.
