Powered hub

Had my duo clone a few weeks now,everything seems ok.Tried different images but can`t get box to recognise usb powered hub.I know it must be my lack of knowledge so can someone please guide me through installing hub + usb hdd.Have Blackhole 1.7.5 running at the moment,but would be prepared to change should there be another image easier to learn on lol

Hi mate thanks for replying.I really need from out the box tutorial.Got the BH Mountedit screen on and it may as well be in Spanish lol
