hello, i installed the image, and make all settings in the image what i wanna have, after that all, i install Backupsuite 26+git476 from download feed. i try to make a full backup on my external hdd. because the autobackup tool what is in image can not create a full backup of complete image.
the backupsuite app says all is ok. nfi file was created 100%

After i try to flash the .nfi file what i have created by the backupsuite tool, the box dont booting.
i can flash the image in the webinterface, but after flashing the box dont boot any more.

does somebody know where is the problem, and what tool i can using to make a 100% 1:1 full backup?

size of backup is 113MB so its not so big, but i dont understand why it dont boot.

You need to copy on /media/hdd the file, and unpack it, it will be /hdd/dreambox

chmod 755 all files on it,

and run the ./backup.sh /hdd or ./backup_original.sh /hdd

i have copy it to media/hdd

after that i have start dcc tool and in in telnet put this command:
/media/hdd/dreambox_backup/dreambox/backup.sh

You must go into the folder...

cd /hdd/dreambox

and launch command

./backup.sh /hdd

the image was made correct, now i have try to flash this nfi File in Box.
All is going 100% but the Box dont booting. it only shows the first dreambox500 logo but it dont booting after that.

any idea what can be the problem?

i have checked the bootloader its still 89 like it was before.

but if i flash a normal image it boot normaly.

only if i flash again the backup image what i have do with the script, it will not booting, after its 100% flashed.

i dont know where can be the problem....

The Original File: openpli-enigma2-12.3-dm500hdv2.nfi is 108MB and with this normal the booting works

and i try Automatic Fullbackup 7.0 ipk install. and same all like before, box is not booting. with the prodused NFI File from Full Backup.

Try to flash the backup image and without rebooting, flash the SSL for your box, to see if the backup generated is ok.

Try also to use the "./backup_original.sh /hdd", as it uses the SSL it has there.

This script was tested with OpenPLi 8.x... try the openpli for your box from the link below, and do backup of it, as the 12.x which is really not an openpli could have differences.

I have now first... flash the self made full backup. And after webinterface was at 100%, i dont reboot box, i go back i try to flash the ssl 89 bootloader.

but it gives me this error:
INVALID IMAGE (YOU NEED A IMAGE WITH AT LEAST 2ND #89)

now i will try the other steps...
