is there some patched addon of TVH for LibreElec 10.0.3 (Kodi Matrix 19.4) for Raspberry Pi3 available?

AFAIK, Coreelec cannot be used with RPi3 devices or am I wrong (at least I didn't find a proper image...)

OSCam would run on a dedicated VM, hence, I'm just looking for a patched TVH for Kodi on RPi3.

If patching and compiling of TVH on your sys went thru without errors and TVH runs afterwards as expected, the issue must be related so something else.

Are you using DVBAPI to connect from TVH to OSCam?

Where do you get your 098D from? Locally or remotely?

2. Remotely. I understand that my provider uses Oscam Icam because it recommends patching Oscam for Icam. I chose your option to patch TVH because I use Ubuntu and it seemed easier to me.

Could it be a minisatip problem?

your config looks weird. not sure if it's related to copy+paste.

oscam.dvbapi should only contain CAIDs with P: (prioritize) or I: (ignore) flags

also there's possibly some mess-up with users in your config.

what's your oscam.user config?

apart from that:

makes no sense to have them both set. choose either or, not both.

Now I have a "strange" problem with the newly installed TVH player. I have the default relay profile set to pass; the TVH player emits sound but black image, if I change the player to matroska profile it shows image without sound. VLC reproduces image and sound well. Now the TVH player does play Sky F1 Bravo! in the above conditions: to choose only sound or only image, but VLC does not show anything.

You're using TVH as your backend to deliver IPTV within your environment, right. So TVH is the one that shall connect to your OSCam.

Why do you have multiple users in OSCam? For example, just "tvheadend" would be enough.

This user shall be in your oscam.user and as "user" under [dvbapi] section in oscam.conf

TVH will then serve connected clients like Kodi, VLC, etc. Those respective users shall be configured in TVH only.

Kodi will connect to TVH usually thru htsp protocol, while VLC will use "pass" (if I am not mistaken).

So TVH (user) config shall be made accordingly and then it shall be working.

But still I'd suggest to get also your OSCam config a bit more structured and sorted.

I suspect that is very true :) . I do not have a rational understanding of these aspects and I use tutorials with copy and paste, perhaps several instructions have accumulated over time. Everything must have fit because it was working fine, but in this operation with TVH it was reinstalled and, very clumsy of me, I lost the existing TVH configuration. I'll try until it works and probably end up with a chaotic setup :). Any suggestions on Oscam's mess?

It seems that the problem was in Minisatip. I have a Digibit Twin tuner driven by Minisatip. For testing, I disabled Minisatip and made Tvheadend work directly with Digibit Twin and that was it. I have consulted the creator of Minisatip and he confirms that he does not support Icam.

I have tried to put your exact configuration and I had problems in the connection TVH-Oscam, TVH is so delicate. I need to do some research on the function of parameters. Still I have applied your general recommendations. From my ignorance, I find the oscam.dvbapi file weird.

Eventually it didn't connect because of the user "tvheadend" under dvbapi section in oscam.conf. You'll need to provide an user which is in your oscam.user config.

Or it's beacuse of some other issue but more info shall be provided by TVH (debug) log, especially when you try to connect to OSCam.

What was the error message on TVH side?

Sorry, I didn't look at the log, only in the "cas" section the mark appeared in red.
