What do you actually mean by "support"?

But what do you actually mean by the word "support"?

The box has been out for a while, using the same chip as ultimo4k. If it meets your requirements ( depending on what you mean by "support"), it is a good box.

In the absence of your definition of the word support, I have the following to say:

Xtrend as a business has closed down several years ago. OpenPLi and others still make images for them. Although Dreambox went closed source many many years ago, OpenPLi still make images for the boxes they used to make images for and will do so until the drivers no longer allow it to work. When was the last driver update for the Solo2? It still works withot many notable issues being posted.

Various image teams have their own policies/criteria for which receivers they make and when they will stop doing so. Some have limited resources and will continue to make images for popular receivers but do not have enough resources for more powerful/less popular receivers. Others have more resources and continue to make images for very old receivers including making adaptations to keep them going. OpenATV have a 7.3 image for a Vu+ Solo ( the first one). So you need to decide what your requirements for "support" are.

There are not many receivers with FBC capabilities or multi-tuner capabilities. The Duo 4K has these. It is a very capable box. If it has the hardware/features you need/want, it will be a good purchase.
