DM920 HD - Two DiSEqC switches

I don't understand this

Tuner A2= Tuner A1

Tuner A3= Tuner A1

Tuner A4= Tuner A1

Tuner A6= Tuner A5

Tuner A7= Tuner A5

Tuner A8= Tuner A5

And when you say you have two FBC tuners, do you mean you have two tuner units, i.e 16 tuners? Or do you mean one unit with two physical inputs and 6 socketl-ess tuners. totla of 8 tuners?

"=" means "the same". If you told the receiver Tuner A1 has a diseqc switch with certain satellites, and then you also tell it A1 is the same as A2, it would mean that there is an identical diseqc switch with inputs from the same satellites as those hooked up to tuner A1. This is different to what you described earlier. Also, you cannot have 8 diseqc switches, it is physically impossible because an FBC module/tuner unit has two co-axial F-plug sockets to connect to. ( I am ignoring the committed/not committed where you can have up to 64 LNBs to one tuner, nothing to do with FBC tuners.)

If you only have one FBC unit. i.e two connection inputs ( i.e total of 8 tuners). And you had two diseqc switches connected to the module/unit, the setup should be:

Tuner A1 as pictured in my previous post

Configuration Mode = simple

Mode = DiSEqC A/B/C/D

Port A = 16E

Port B = 13E

Port C = 1.9E

Port D =0.8W

Tuner A2 almost as the same as the previous picture. Just change the satellites

Configuration Mode = simple

Mode = DiSEqC A/B/C/D

Port A =19.2E

Port B = 23.5E

Port C = 28.2E

Port D = 33E

Tuners A3-A8 should all be left FBC automatic. (FBC automatic means internal loop through.) You only ever configure these if you are using a unicable LNB.

If the above does not help, please post a picture of the back of your receiver to show the wires connected to it. If possible draw a diagram to show the physical setup of your lnbs/dishes/switches.

with my experiences, correctly working FBC tuner for dreambox, use image based on original iamges, for others receivers, sorry, I have no ideas

Tuner A3-A8 (those without physical connection ports) will only ever be used when the software makes use of internal loop-through. They are not independent unless you are using unicable, so forget about them. Please leave them as FBC automatic or leave them disabled/not configured

Which image date are you using? ATV just merged some changes into the 11th July image that has different code. Maybe that might help. Please try the DMM image, if that works fine, check the driver details. ATV may need to source them and/or add work arounds.

Someone from OpenATV development team will be checking the DM920 for you.

Have you tried to swap cables around and also adapt tuner config to rule out the diseqc switch?

The issue has been resolved and was working for Captain. Please flash the 18th July 7.3 image. Please start clean/fresh and do not restore settings.

Please refer to my picture for the correct tuner identification for your satellite receiver. You have to configure tuners A1 and A5.
