    Actually getting things to run on boot is rather faffy. As there is lots of other things going on with the boot process. So you have to delay the update process anyway.
    It can be done, but its a pain in the backside. And when you only have to press 2 buttons to manual update the bouquets I don't think its worth the effort.

    I delete and create new bouquets on purpose. That way your bouquets are correct and up to date with no old dead streams.
    If you are asking me, that you have multiple providers and you only want to update one provider at a time. Then that gets a lot more complicated.

    If you are asking me to just update certain bouquets and not others, for just one provider. That is really complicated.

    And if you want to do this because series is slow to build. Then use BMX for live channels. And use other iptv plugins like my XStreamity / XKlass for VOD and Series.
    Because Live updates very quickly in BMX. Even multiple providers. Its only series that is slow.

    I’m using OpenATV 7.6 with a Vu+ Solo4K. The bouquet is created perfectly, as are the EPGs with EPGImport.

    The problem is when I watch a VOD or a series with Xklass or Xstreamity — on the display I see the time progress not matching, and an EPG that doesn’t correspond with that VOD.

    If you are referring to the progress bar. It works in both. All depends what skin you have installed.

    If you have a progress bar and its not correct, then try different stream types. 4097, 5001, 5002 etc. Or even try another skin on your box.

    There will be no description text like there is for live, or satellite though. As this description data isn't in the stream.

    I have been experimenting with thatfellow's superscript font issue tonight.

    Because very few plugin or skins fonts will show those superscript characters.

    I can do it, its not very fast at the moment, so just got to make it rapid.

    Ciao kiddac con bmx creo solo bouquet live il problema si presenta solo dopo aver creato gli epg e lo trovo anche in egami , ho provato anche più pelli in entrambi le immagini , se cancello gli epg.data dal hdd la barra avanzamento in xstreamity e xklass si sistema , magari sarà la mia linea che mi da quel problema , grazie

    Le info sul display non sono sempre di un canale specifico cambia con il tempo

    Added in a new option at the bottom of bouquet settings to convert superscript characters into ASCII (as they wont be shown currently),

    which is common in a very popular Chinese provider and its resellers at the moment.

    i.e 4K: ULTRA REX ᵁᴴᴰ ³⁸⁴⁰ᴾ -> 4K: ULTRA REX UHD 3840P

    This option is python 3 only and will not show for python 2.


    This option will slightly slow down bouquet creation, but it uses a C library so shouldn't be overly slow.

    The crash isn’t because your code is being executed under Python 2.7, it’s because Python 2.7 can’t even parse the file that contains this function:

    Those : str and -> str are function annotations (type hints) that were only introduced in Python 3.

    Python 2.7’s parser sees them as a syntax error, so it fails at import time — before any if statement can even prevent execution.

    I followed your advice and switched to BMX,it works good but somehow the epg is not working,I did all right steps and my iptv provider assures me they have it.I even deleted BMX started with fresh image(openvix on octa.sf8008) but the same,no epg.cheers

    as jedox , said you need to install epgimporter from plugins and select your iptv provider in epgimporter sources and import epg.

    as jedox , said you need to install epgimporter from plugins and select your iptv provider in epgimporter sources and import epg.

    I did that and it didn’t work(Egami and openatv)now I removed all of them reinstalled openvix and epg works fine.thank you all for your efforts.cheers

    I don’t know why in VODs I only have the actor’s voice during the first minute, but then the sound cuts off. The same thing happens with IPTV movies as well. I tried setting the code to 4092 and also 5001, but it still didn’t fix the problem.

    This problem only happens with movies. On live channels there is no issue, only with movies.
