your issues, seems related to the issue fairbird raised on github.

But it shouldn't happen - it should skip the screen if its empty?
So I am confused why you are getting no channels.

Could you possible send me a private message with the playlists you are trying to use. So I can see if I can replicate it myself.

There seems to be quite a collection of bad playlists around at the moment that aren't using proper xtream codes apis.
I need to see these actually playlists to put in workarounds.

Just fixing things for certain providers.
bad epg custom sids of 0:0:0:0:0:0:0 now ignored.
playlists that have /play/ as the stream url should now be correctly referenced. There was an error that these were mistakenly all classed as series.

rtmp/m3u8/ts is standard list - although rtmp is usually last in the list.

Ok - the logic is this. If you put an output type in your line. It will use that if its valid. The only valid formats for enigma2 and this plugin are output=ts or output=m3u8

if you put output=mpegts this will be changed by the plugin to output=ts
if you put output=hls this will be changed by the plugin to output=m3u8

If something else has sneaked through (although it shouldn't) - then it picks the first one from allowed_formats. Which in your case might be rtmp.

Now why might you be having issues with bouquets compared to an app.
An app will load and refresh the data every time it loads
Bouquet streams may become outdated if your provider is constantly changing and updating the lists.
They are only updated when 1)auto update runs daily or 2) you manually update.

So if you are having issues with bouquets not playing or becoming stale, just do a manual update. And things should be good again.

If not, we got a different issue.

Your output type is fine. So it isn't even looking at your allowed-formats.

It than case it might not be releasing channels quickly enough. So the stream might be being blocked.

One way to test is to open a browser on a pc/laptop

And keep an eye on your active connections.

If it black screens - see if you active connections is greater than max-connections.

But iptv is always flakey. Enigma2 is always flakey. Sometimes you just got to keep trying different channels until it comes back from the black screen.

Also try different stream types. 4097 preferably over 1. or 5002 if you got serviceapp installed

There are speed test plugins in the plugin feeds. Try one of those.
Or quite simply turn your router on and off to reset your internet connection.
