deleting empty satellite channels

Some work you do on your own.
Use a channel editor and create bouquets for channels on satellites.
Rename them to their respective channel names. Reorder them.
If a channel cannot be viewed due to many different reasons. Delete them.
Save back to the receiver. And call it a day.

I presume you are pretty new to enigma2 boxes, plugins and settings.

OpenATV 7.* setup guide by KiddaC

I have been asked a few times if I can make a new setup guide for latest OpenATV 7.* versions.

So lets go through the motions again, as a few things have changed since my original OpenATV 6.4 setup guide.

Although this guide is using openatv image, it can be used as a base for any image. They are all pretty much the same process.

*note before you start a new flash - a reflash clears most things off your box. Make sure you have copies of all important information before continuing.

But any new scan, (if set to clear on scan), will only show you channels that are viewable.

or you can use Autobouquetmaker plugin and use that scanner.

For show crypto icons.

You have 2 main epgs.

Main epg - Epg button - You cant show encryption icons here.

But you also have channel select screen. Press down arrow on your remote keypad.

Here you can show the crypo icons. Press menu. Settings. Show crypto icons.
