Hi. My h9.2h se is stuck on the hisilicon logo and no other signs of life. I must have done something wrong when moving through the menus to discover the various features it has. I tried restoring many ways and many images, compressed and uncompressed, but nothing worked. I also changed various pendrives. I can't access a recovery menu either via the reset button or the remote control. could someone help me? thanks

Go to openvix and select the emmc recovery file first, make sure usb is fat 32, then flash the recovery, make take more than one attempt. Then flash opnvix 6.4 full version. Take off any other usb sticks. Have you sat cables attached? Make sure box is all ready to use recovery but it may not like the USB stick. Did you flash it yourself?
Go slow, did you have more than one image on box?
-
test...
hold down the button then plug in the power, hold down until the multiboot menu appears and then go to the web section and download a software of your choice.

if you connect the LAN to the web...the LEDs flash or are fixed,
if always connected to the LAN and with computer and DCC see the serial number of the LAN if so there is a doc on the web how to restart from another image remotely... I read it a short time ago.
from another partition

How to flash Zgemma H9 S/2S/2H SE
- Format your USB stick with an MBR partition table and a FAT32 file system.
- Download a image from: https://openpli.org/download/zgemma/
- Download both the recovery_emmc and emmc zip file from the OpenPli website
- Do NOT unpack these files but copy these zip files to your USB stick.
- Place USB in the box while power off.
- Turn on the device at the back en PRESS AND HOLD the POWER BUTTON on THE REMOTE until the recovery menu appears
- Now flash the recovery_emmc zip first
- Repeat procedure and flash the emmc image file to 'linux slot 1'
- After flashing, the box will restart in the recovery menu
- Remove the USB stick
- Select 'linux slot 1' to start the flashed image
-
How
6. Turn on the device at the back en PRESS AND HOLD the POWER BUTTON on THE REMOTE until the recovery menu appears
i can't do this step. It don't show me the recovery menu. Only hisilicon logo. I think if the usb isn' t compatible it will show anyway the recovery menu.

If I was you I would follow my suggestion and use openvix, recovery file, worrying about flashing later. So do file on usb etct and do the following
3. INSERT YOUR USB STICK TO REAR PANEL JACK
Insert your usb stick to rear panel jack.
4. RECOVERY YOUR BOX
Press the rear panel reset key for 3-6s power on your box in the same time.
The front panel logo led will display white color 20-25s, then change to red color and after
3s goto white color.
Now your box will auto flash and recovery your box.Try that.
