I have tried and tried using plugin, installed from telnet etc and I cant get Wireguard to show, its says in plugins its installed but cant see anything there, I can uninstall and reinstall -- I have done a complete wipe and installed Open ATV 7.4 and still nothing works. I created a Privatekey.key and put it in but no go still I deleted Openvpn from ETC but still getting nowhere - tried different versions to no avail.... any help would be welcomed... Thx

Have you tried to download il from here ? Version for python 3.12 should do for your image.

Try also this telnet for the dipendencies and tools:

opkg install kernel-module-wireguard
opkg install wireguard-tools

And any outcome is wireguard working yes or no that is just you cannot connect is working , then more infomatoin needed also at least mention stb,

just found that via you post put that does not even matter you do not even mention vpn or wireguard provider.

Can AdGuard be supported?

I thought I had added that the telnet inputs didnt work either -- In plugins I can see Wireguard VPN but when I press green to install it processes then remains there to install - going in to remove plugins it isnt there --- I am using openATV7.4 on a VU+ uno4K SE box with Surfshark VPN.

Just done a fresh clean and installed plugin fine this time but still not showing in list of plugins?

I know its strange why it wont work for me ---- Anyhow ive given up with Wireguard now and removed it and all traces from the vu box and installed Surfshark on my Router now and just added the box -- working fine now not faffing about anymore....

is that openvpn , because big difference in performance

With the latest versions of OpenATV 7.5, all plugins work well, including Wireguard 10.7

Sorry who said anything about wasting time --- and I am not incapable -- I am a IT technician of 20 Years retired -- if the program doesnt work then it doesnt work --- so dont even bother replying if it annoys you ........
