  • just would be good to get a user example including how to add username and pasword.

Is there really no example in the first post of the topic of what links with authorization look like? + https://streamlink.github.io/plugins.html#zattoo

with Streamlink you have a zattoo.config in root that contains the credentials. to use it direct in the bouquet... no idea. will try.

    EDIT: Found a bouquet:

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:2B66:3F3:1:C00000:0:0:0:http%3a//127.0.0.1%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/live/zdf -l debug --zattoo-email "xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xx" --zattoo-password "xxxxxxxxx":2DF

    #DESCRIPTION 2DF

    for now it doesn´t work...

  • -l debug

What is this parameter and where do you see it in the link for the Zaptto- built-in plugin I gave you above?

    --zattoo-email "xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xx" --zattoo-password "xxxxxxxxx":2DF

Where in the first post of this thread, in the example for "ibbc-player" where the registration data is passed (similar to Zattoo) did you see such a syntax in the url-link query? Such nonsense will not work and it's not the plugin's fault ...

p,s, Try adding to the bouquet like this, but replace "xxxxxx" with your registration details.

    Code
    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:2B66:3F3:1:C00000:0:0:0:http%3a//127.0.0.1%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/live/zdf?zattoo-email=xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xx&zattoo-password=xxxxxxxxx

if you like it you can make donations

    #DESCRIPTION ZDF

NOTE: the password ends with ##

    Could this be an issue?

The test pattern comes from the plugin? I have the same on this:

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//www.ardmediathek.de/live/Y3JpZDovL2RldXRzY2hld2VsbGUuZGUvTGl2ZXN0cmVhbS1EZXV0c2NoZVdlbGxl

    #DESCRIPTION Deutsche Welle (ardmediathek.de)

  • NOTE:

    What I did.

    1) I connected a VPN with a German IP

    2) Registered on zattoo.com . I was offered a plan - I chose free 30 days

    3) I went to the website with the list of live broadcasts (screenshot below).

    4) "Threw" links in the bouquet ...

    Check them out for yourself.

    Code
    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/channels?channel=zdf

If you already have an account, just add it to the links I provided above.

    Code
    ?zattoo-email=xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xx&zattoo-password=xxxxxxxxx

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/channels?channel=one&zattoo-email=xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xx&zattoo-password=xxxxxxxxx

if you like it you can make donations

  • Used this syntax

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/channels?channel=zdf&zattoo-email=xxxxxxx@gmail.com&zattoo-password=xxxxxxx

    #DESCRIPTION ZDF 2

I removed the special characters for now. After the "channel=zdf" I used the "&" instead of the "?". Anyway I tested both, w/o sucess... :-( Allways just test pattern after buffering.

and your bouquet is working with Zattoo Free?

  • What I did.

    1) I connected a VPN with a German IP

    hi

testing for Rai channels but something not right - streams not working

What is this url-link's nonsense in your "testings" and why should they work?

  • it work for you?

I don't have an Italian IP ... I pointed out to you the errors in the bouquet records you provided.

    Code
    127.0.0.1 - - [06/Jan/2024 10:10:40] "GET /https://www.raiplay.it/dirette/rai1 HTTP/1.1" 200 -
    Geo-restricted content
    Got streamlink Exception:

You can monitor what's going on on your own. To do this, stop streamlinkproxy

    Code
    streamlinkproxy stop

    then run in "manual" mode

    Code
    streamlinkproxy manualstart

switch channels, and watch the output in the terminal session

  • 4) "Threw" links in the bouquet ...

could do you explain how to do this? I have the feeling my Free account (not the free 30 days, but permanent SD channels for free) works different? What 30 days account you got? Ultimate, Basic?

It´s funny that yours work and not for me. I´m on Cable Vodafone internet in DE.

  • It´s funny that yours work and not for me

Maybe ... but what's more "fun" is that you didn't try to run streamlinkproxy in "manual" mode, as described above, and didn't check what you got in the log. If there are errors or something doesn't work, it will show there....

could do you explain how to do this?

How to copy/paste URL link from a website to a userbouquet file?

if you like it you can make donations

  • hahaha, I didn´t have seen that the URL is just in the browser field, As I never worked with this stuff I was thinking in a more complex way.

Ok, will try the "manual mode" way. Be patience, I´m a drone expert, not Linux.

Btw: as I´m using OpenVIX 6.5, would the service numbers "4097, 5001, 5002" be the issue? As I unerstood this are related to the used player?

  • would the service numbers "4097, 5001, 5002" be the issue?

Basically no ... but for the sake of rigour, try it this way

    Code
    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/channels?channel=zdf&zattoo-stream-types=hls7&zattoo-email=xxxxxx@xxxxxxxx.xx&zattoo-password=xxxxxxxxx&zattoo-purge-credentials=1

In this case, the zattoo plugin built into the streamlink library will try to parse the video stream into HLS by force and start new session if paid subscription exist
