Not sure for normal users like me (not a coder or Linux expert) it will be of interest to know what SL library is used- The only important thing is that its work.

For more "hacky" users, probably a relation to the used SL library will be more important.

as pepsin wrote, it works for all images and skins, and this is awesome! Most plugin only works for specific images and skins, very annoying.

Configuring the channel name in the bouquet is the way to go, I like it. Just my 2 cent...

    Paul Verhoeven in this case

Thanks to all those who helped resurrect this great plugin, there's really not much missing and I hope a coding specialist will come along to build a perfect media library.

    Regards

Yeah, if some one could also resolve my issue of plugin lockup as described above, this would be great. I look at EMC also, but I can not see where EMC is better than MovieBrowser. It looks horrible!!

Yesterday I made a program recording and then play it. FWD is working just max 4x, REV doesn't work at all. Title is strange compared to a Cable or SAT recored title. Any idea on why FWD and REV is not working? Is this a question about the file type? Just trying to understand the behavior.

Regarding the Timeshift not working, I think to understood why DVB-C/S/T is using its internal frame buffer (/lib/dvb/frontend.cpp) to view the live TV, IPTV is just a digital stream that requires a player such as ffmpeg or gstreamer. In order to use Timeshift in theory it must be decoded, handled and processed like a DVB signal in ordert o use Timeshift. Is this assumption correct?

Ohhh, works like a charme!!! Very cool plugins and interaction. Compliments! Many thanks! Will now dig deeper in this stuff and let you know and share my files if of interest to add it as a Zattoo package.

    Man, many thanks!!!

Ohhh, thanks. Yes, for me all this is new and never worked with m3u files. I opened few of them to try to understand how it works. Step by step thanks you I'm learning. I can design you a complete drone system, but enigma2... a rabbit hole for me ;-)

Oh yeas, VU+ support... Just shaking my head...

Now next step is adding EPG :-)

I also wrote to you about this earlier... NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE ... It all depends on the level of your knowledge, perseverance, and desire to achieve your goal.

p.s. Remember I told you that you don’t need e2m3u2b? ... But if you want an EPG ... then ...it may be useful to you for this since it can select EPGs by channel name... but for this you must find the EPG source (XMLTV for German channels) and correctly compose m3u from links to Zattoo broadcasts, then slip this playlist into the e2m3ub plugin

ok, sounds a little complicated at the first time, but I will try to do it. Thanks!

Btw: Do you know if your IPTV Archiver plug-in works for Zattoo?

Interesting thought ... Have you ever thought that if you watch live broadcasting and try to fast forward .... to the future ... Personally I haven't heard that a time machine has already been invented :beaming face with smiling eyes:

    pause == timeshift

rew is equal to viewing archived broadcasts ... for this purpose, IPTV provider should store broadcasts that have already finished or are in progress as files ... and provide API for organizing access to these files by timestamps ... I am not sure that Zattoo provides this.

hahaha, off course FWD not for live... but if you watch live from SAT or Cable, I can Pause, then timeshift start (on the box), then I can FWD, REW inside the timeshift time range. Seems not possible with IP streams. Is this a player issue or what?

Man, you´re great!!!!!!!!!! it works now!!! As soon I will use it back in Italy in my new home I will send you a donation :-)

    Great support!! Great plugin!

A suggestion: would be nice to have a GUI to check the deamon is running, stop, start, manual start and may be some other settings.

Btw: timeshift, frw, rev is not working, is this normal for IPTV streams? Pause works. Are this actions not handled by the enigma2 stuff?

Now next step is adding EPG :-)

    Thanks again!!!

    it is 12.800

regarding the IP it was more that maybe Vodafone blocks the Zattoo service. but it works from the browser, so bulls.... from my side. Just I ran out of ideas...

    Got streamlink Exception:

    The bouquet syntax:

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/channels?channel=zdf&zattoo-email=xxxxx@gmail.com&zattoo-password=xxxxxx

hahaha, I didn´t have seen that the URL is just in the browser field, As I never worked with this stuff I was thinking in a more complex way.

Ok, will try the "manual mode" way. Be patience, I´m a drone expert, not Linux.

Btw: as I´m using OpenVIX 6.5, would the service numbers "4097, 5001, 5002" be the issue? As I unerstood this are related to the used player?

    4) "Threw" links in the bouquet ...

could do you explain how to do this? I have the feeling my Free account (not the free 30 days, but permanent SD channels for free) works different? What 30 days account you got? Ultimate, Basic?

It´s funny that yours work and not for me. I´m on Cable Vodafone internet in DE.

    Used this syntax

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/channels?channel=zdf&zattoo-email=xxxxxxx@gmail.com&zattoo-password=xxxxxxx

    #DESCRIPTION ZDF 2

I removed the special characters for now. After the "channel=zdf" I used the "&" instead of the "?". Anyway I tested both, w/o sucess... :-( Allways just test pattern after buffering.

and your bouquet is working with Zattoo Free?

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:2B66:3F3:1:C00000:0:0:0:http%3a//127.0.0.1%3a8088/https%3a//zattoo.com/live/zdf?zattoo-email=xxxxxxx@gmail.com&zattoo-password=xxxxxxx&--zattoo-purge-credentials

    #DESCRIPTION ZDF

NOTE: the password ends with ##

    Could this be an issue?

The test pattern comes from the plugin? I have the same on this:

    #SERVICE 4097:0:1:0:0:0:0:0:0:0:http%3a//localhost%3a8088/https%3a//www.ardmediathek.de/live/Y3JpZDovL2RldXRzY2hld2VsbGUuZGUvTGl2ZXN0cmVhbS1EZXV0c2NoZVdlbGxl
