    Xstreamity and XKlass are players.
    Xstreamity is probably better if you have multiple playlists, or use hacked playlists you find on the web.

    XKlass is more condensed and compact with less screens so better for 1 or 2 proper playlists. The aim of XKlass was to be a bit more like an android app.

    Jedi/BMX are bouquet makers. Lots of people prefer to have bouquets for live, as its easier to switch between satellite and IPTV without having to go into a separate plugin.

    But its entirely up to you whether you use 1 plugin for your needs or multiple plugins (not just mine)

    Any pros or cons in Xklass compaired to Xstreamity or is this just å re -write with different layout and nothing new? I'd like to know.

    Been using it a while, works fine but maybe a little slower response time compaired to Xstreamity.

    To be honest I stuck to XStreamity as quicker for me and seems easier to navigate the screen etc. This is by no means a negative review just my observations.

    KiddaC has repeatedly emphasized that he wrote XKlass with a new and modern code. XKlass runs very quickly and very well for me. We should be grateful.


    In my opinion, the future of enigma2 lies in IPTV. With his plugins, he has expanded the application possibilities of the enigma2 boxes.

    Well actually I said... it is a plugin based on xstreamity but more of an android app style layout.
    90% of the code is the same as xstreamity. The code isn't really modernised. And any code snippets that have been modernised have also been updated in xstreamity.
    They are basically the same plugin with different menu structure, and paths to get to where you want.

    The plugin was made, because if you only have 1 or 2 playlists, you dont have to go through all the previous screens of selecting a playlist.

    Everything is now only 1 menu or button click away.

    Hi KiddaC, i also thought that was your primary goal. An overlayer channel list from the left-hand side would also be the next step in my view. Many Smart TV IPTV apps handle this in a similar way. I would also be very happy if you reconsidered.

    Removed sat channel playing in the background of menus.


    Amended sort code


    Fixed a minor issue with setting default playlist. Menu stays open now afterwards to fix a button issue.

    Removed Home/Root/ playlist backup.

    Again - please check your playlists.txt file hasn't messed up.
    I might have broke it in the previous release by removing line endings.

    Added in 2 new settings

    Play satellite channel audio in background  salee

    Add speedtest plugin to main menu - shows if you have Internetspeedtest or netspeedtest plugin installed on your box. B@baYaga

    Changed the main menu if you have "Auto start XKlass on boot" - so exit button is removed, and a new option of restart GUI is added. B@baYaga

    If you want to exit the plugin you will have to turn off Auto start on boot in settings.

    Added in the greek translation

    Update start menu to include a playlist selection - if more than one playlist. (Up/down to change list selection. / Left/right to change options)

    Default playlist - is now last playlist viewed. Setting default playlist has been removed.
    Switch playlist has been renamed - Manage playlists.

    Also few bug fixes with saving settings.
