Issues with hispassat 30w

All the channels on 30w are encrypted, are you using oscam to open. I dont use bh anymore. Can you name a specific channel that you want to view?

Can you do a pic of the 30w dish setup and say the elevation and skew. Also the solo2 has 2 tuners when on thor can you ensure you get a signal on both tuners.

And have you only one receiver. As you can get signal on thor it means tuners are ok, and if dish was getting a good signal from 30w it would show on receiver. But I'm a bit stumped. Would it be easy to use lnb from thor and vice versa. You know lnb from hor works but you need to prove new lnb works as well.

a mystery but that dreambox 500s make sure its dvb-s2 compatible or get another solo2. I cant fathom how box will work on thor and not on 30w.

you wont get many sd channels these days . I have 2 solo2's and here is a pic of the power pack and the bit that plugs in to solo2 and that is the tricky part, if its wrong it wont work.

Its quite possible that BH image is corrupt and is not detecting the second tuner unless you know you have blown it previously, thunderstorm etc.

Also may be a loose piece of wire stuck in sat input. Have you backup image. When you are on thor and can switch between V and H then box is outputting either 13v or 18v.

I use openatv on both solo 2's and perfect.

Is it cost that is making you opt for the db500s??
