  • Nothing to do, Just installed the emmc file on slot 1, the receiver does itself a reboot, but after that, nothing happens even when trying to switch from one image to another. I'll try to buy a Supreme for the third time, which already gave me big problems partitioning the SD card.

My friend, when you install an emmc Image, you lose all Images both in Flash and in Multiboot. At that time, you end up with only one installed Image, that in Slot 1. Nothing else. So, if you wish to boot to another Image, you have to install another Image in Slot2, 3 or 4, for example. Only then, you will be able to boot to a different Image in Slot 2, 3 or 4.

O.K. thanks, I'll try this way!

I installed the openTV 7.4 emmc recovery file...slot 1, then installed clean openatv 7.5,slot2, clean openvix, slot 4, and clean open pli, slot 6, but the receiver still does not boot from one image to another

I wouldn't waste time with the supreme, they are almost all bugged, I had two and both had problems with the SD card, I have been for mounths exchanging mails with the support but they say they didn't find any problem and there's no way to be heard.
I know it's attractive for the internal SSD but I'd suggest you to forget it for now and if you really have to do it get the older version not Supreme.
I know that soon they will come out with another new version, just to conferm what they deny, tha that decoder is nothing more than a waste of money and Octagon is not a serious brand.

Would not agree wth comment 'Octagon is not a serious brand' but the 'SUPREME' definately has faults and would not recommend buying. :weary face:

They would be serious if they took care of their customers when they have a problem instead of having them repeat things over and over again pretending not to understand so as to make you give up due to exhaustion as in the end actually happened.

They pretend not to know the problem but you see it too, there are many people who complain about this decoder both here and on other sites and I find it rather unlikely that no one before or after me has complained to them about this problem.

A serious company takes its responsibilities and if they sell a defective batch they must take note of it and fix it, otherwise what is the point of the guarantees?

If you are running an image in slot 1, 2, 3 or 4 , the first part of: /boot/STARTUP should be: boot emmcflash0

Therefore, the first part of: STARTUP_1, STARTUP_2, STARTUP_3 and STARTUP_4 should also all be: boot emmcflash0

    Please check.

  • This is the content of slot 1 :

    boot emmcflash0.linuxkernel1 'root=/dev/mmcblk0p16 rootsubdir=linuxrootfs1 rootfstype=ext4 kernel=/dev/mmcblk0p12 userdataroot=/dev/

The content is the same for all the slots, the only chenge is the number after the word "linuxkernel" depending on the slot used
