OpenATV 7.5.1 – Discussion & New Features

I don't understand why when I update the image, and this happens both with ATV 7.5.1.and 7.6, after installing the updates it resets the GUI in a loop several times. Before it used to reset just once. This happens with three devices, they are all octagon SF8008.

Are you doing software update of flashonline with restore settings if using flashonline with restore settings what setting do you have set in software manager settings.

mode for autorestore. turbo , fast, or slow .

It's not a fresh install, it' normal updates. I am actually configuring ATV on a brand new decoder I just received today so it's the original image, I didn't flash it. I must say I have restored my settings from the other decoder, same model, and I do not use preset setting, I prefer to organize my own channels.
I wonder if it could be a plugin that I'm passing over from one STB to the other that causes those resets, but which one if so?

If you want my opinion, try using the command: opkg update && opkg upgrade. It's much better. Recently, I faced complications with the system update, which were resolved this way.

Thanks, I had forgot about that command and I will try it. Hoping it fixes the bug, at least updating that way it does it straight away and it should restart only once.

Didn't work, it loops also from telnet from 50% approx to 100% and back to 54% and so on for several times.
It's stange it happens only to me and that's why I'm asking if anybody else has the same issue.

Hello, is it possible to use "quadbild in bild" or picture in picture for 1 Stream channels or more?

My problem is : wenn i want look a streaming channel with the blue button it's not possible... the Stream stop and no channel is visible. I have an ultimo4k with openatv 7.5.1 and last update. Thank you for any suggestions Cordially GD

I don't know about ultimo but from what I remember when I tried quad pip onn gigablue quad uhd 4k it would only work with satellite or terrestrial channels not (iptv)

I'm using Openatv 7.5.1 and often when I start the box the DNS values disappear, they become zero and I have to enter them again.

Hello. I use a VU+solo4k box, with image VTI15.0.04 (the system works perfectly), but it lacks Python 3.0.0 and the VTI image has "only" KODI 17 - very old Kodi and upgrade - there is no replacement for a higher version (it only uses Python2.0.0).

I read this thread, but I did not get answers to my questions. I would like to ask if the openAVT 7.5.1 image is tuned and I can use the Kodi 20+ plugin.

I made backups of the settings in the VTI version (bouklet-satelitas, MultiQuickButton, Oscam...)

Will these backups be usable? (I will copy the satelitas via the program DCC+, I would copy MultiQuickButton /ctrl+c and ctrl+v/ to the folder and copy the oscam including .bin and folder config)

Have you tried to turn off the box completely and then restart it?

Strange thing has happended here,

I was watching å cool movie the other day and I took several screenshots using the Shoot your screen plugin. When I access them on my Vu Uno 4kSE the screenshots folder is empty. When I access the folder using Filezilla, I see them all. This is new to me and hasn't happened before. How to fix this?

I just navigate there using my remote on my Uno4k like I've always done before. I also discovered that if I create a new screenshot, I can see it there in the screenshots folder, but not the previous ones that I took a few days ago

You should use some application, for example file commander
