Greek channels ERT 1,2,3 both SD and HD

    Hello, I am new to this forum, hoping for some guidance, so please forgive my questions.

    I have a simple set up consisting of an Anadol Eco V2 4K UHD box looking at the HellasSat 3/4 satellite at 39 E.

    My question is that although I receive all the ERT channels some do not open for viewing, just a blank screen, I am assuming these are encrypted and according to the information on Lyngsat this is the case.

    Given this is the case, the channels are listed as 'below the horizon, and non subscribable' is there anyway these can be viewed?

    Hi, and thank you for the replies. Please forgive my ignorance, however I am not familiar with OSCAM-EMU...., presumably is a piece of software, if so is it available to download and install on the DVB as such and if so from a reputable source and how to install?

    Also please note that these channels are transmitted as ' below the horizon' non subscription channels!.

    This guide is intended to show how to install a plugin, softcam, skin or extension that comes packed as an ipk file on your enigma2 receiver.

    OSCam-EMU config files are in /etc/tuxbox/config. Use an FTP tool like Filezilla to edit these files.


    Softcam.key file is also attached with the keys already added. Send it to the same folder as the OSCam-EMU config files.


    Edit oscam.dvbapi file with the changes montilla suggested above.


    Start OSCam-EMU from the softcam manager within the image menu.

    Hi and thank you for the valuable information. So far I have managed to install the OSCAM-EMU software on my box, and I can see the directory /etc/tuxbox/config, however I am unable to access the box using Filezilla as the FTP as it will not accept the box's username/password combination it comes up with an error, cannot change directory /dev/null... critical error. any ideas please?

    Thank you once again, for the most valuable information. I am now able to access the box via Filezilla and once connected I can find the directory /etc/tuxbox/config, and within that /oscam.dvbapi, however I don't know how to edit this file with the additional key details from there so please explain how to do it and exactly what to edit (add) to the /oscam.dvbapi file.

    So, I have installed the Oscam-EMU software and shows up in the pluggins under softcams. I can access the box's folders and can see the oscam.dvbapi file in the /etc/tuxbox/config folder, and also in this folder there is the Softcam.Keys file, so what do I do next what do I need to change and how ?.

    Download the oscam.dvbapi with Filezilla. Use Notepad++ to edit this file while on your computer.

    Insert the following data into oscam.dvabpi, save then send back to the receiver. Restart OSCam-EMU.

    OSCam-EMU config files can also be modified through the webinterface, under Files tab.




    Go to the oscam webinterface and check the Live log while viewing some channels to see if there are any error messages.


    To access the webinterface type the ip address of the Anadol Eco V2 into a web browser, press Enter, then look for oscam webinfo link on the left side.

    Thank you for this additional information, it is quite overwhelming to digest, so I am learning as I go along, very much appreciated.

    I have amended the oscam.dvbapi folder as suggested and happy with this. I am however completely at a loss as to the Activation process I do not see any of the information you depict in your post above so not sure what is going on, as to oscam webinterface no idea what that is.

    My guess is you failed to install the .ipk properly, which is why you can`t see the softcam menu.


    Install the softcam feed, then download OSCam-EMU from there.

    Hi, guys a quick message to all those who kindly kept the faith and furnished me with endless instruction. I have now successfully set up the oscam-EMU and softCam so that the ERT channels are all available to view and all work very well.

    A VERY big thank you for putting up with a complete novice, I am very grateful indeed.

    If I may please could you say if any of this installation will need re-installing in the event of an image upgrade, I am currently on OpenAtv 7.5.1 which is very good.

    Also is there anything that I can learn from the OSCam Webinterface?.

    It’s advisable to create a backup of your OpenATV image before performing an upgrade, as a precaution in case of unexpected issues. This way, you’ll have all the necessary files saved to restore your setup easily, making reinstalling far less time-consuming if needed in the future.

    Just as small suggestion if we could keep those keys discussions in a less public mode. The reason that i propose it , is because the forum is watched not only from all of us who are interested on the setup etc. and to enhance our knowledge on enigma2 but also from the providers which any time can change the encryption .
